NJPW Royal Quest III: Jr5 More Matches Added to Card

NJPW has announced more five matches scheduled for Royal Quest III 2023 event, including IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team title bout and Robbie X vs Taiji Ishimori match.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team title bout is set for Royal Quest III 2023 event, where Bullet Club War Dogs (Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney) will defend their title against Cameron Khai and Leon Slater.

Bullet Club War Dogs successfully defended their IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team title at NJPW Destruction In Ryogoku 2023 against the Intergalactic Jet Setters (Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA).

Robbie X is also scheduled for the event, where he will face Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori’s most recent match for NJPW was at NJPW Best Of The Super Junior 30, where he was defeated by Hiromu Takahashi. Robbie X will be making his debut in NJPW with his upcoming match.

Douki and IWGP World Champion Sanada are also set for the event, where they will face Los Ingobernables De Japon Leader Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI. Sanada is set to defend his title against Naito in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 18.

Ren Narita and Shota Umino will face United Empire (Francesco Akira and Great-O-Khan). Guerrillas of Destiny’s Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga will continue their rivalry with BULLET CLUB with the leader David Finlay and Gedo facing them. Tama Tonga defeated David Finlay to win NEVER Openweight title at Destruction in Ryogoku.

Royal Quest III event is scheduled for Thursday, October 14, 2023, and will be hosted at the Copper Box Arena in London. Previously, NJPW had announced an additional five matches for the event. You can click here for more details.

The main event for Royal Quest III 2023 is scheduled to be a showdown for the IWGP United Kingdom Championship, with Will Ospreay defending his title against Zack Sabre Jr.
