NJPW Adds 4 More Matches to NJPW Lonestar Shootout 2023

NJPW has added four more matches for NJPW Lonestar Shootout 2023 event with matches featuring Blackpool Combat Club and Bullet Club.

Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta are set take on Bullet Club’s David Finlay and KENTA in a tag team contest scheduled for NJPW Lonestar Shootout 2023 event.

Moxley’s most recent bout took place at the NJPW Power Struggle event, where he suffered a defeat at the hands of Great-O-Khan. As for Wheeler Yuta, his latest match involved a challenge for the AEW Tag Team titles alongside Claudio Castagnoli. Unfortunately, they were bested by Big Bill and Ricky Starks in that encounter.

David Finlay and KENTA last teamed up as tag partners at Impact& NJPW Multiverse United 2 event, where they secured a victory over the Guerrillas of Destiny.

There’s also a six-man tag team match scheduled for the event, featuring Ultimo Guerrero, Rocky Romero, and Hechicero on one side, who will be teaming up to face Atlantis, Tiger Mask, and Ultimo Guerrero on the other side.

Fred Rosser is also on the card for the event, set to compete in a one-on-one match against Tom Lawlor. In his most recent singles match, Rosser emerged victorious at the NJPW Academy Showcase Summer 2023 event, where he defeated Shaheen.

Tom Lawlor’s most recent singles bout occurred at the NJPW STRONG Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2023 event, in which he was defeated by Gabe Kidd.

Another team of Bullet Club in Chase Owens, Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, and Alex Coughlin is also set for a match where they will face Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, KUSHIDA, and Kevin Knight.

NJPW Lonestar Shootout event is set for November 11, 2023, and it will be broadcast live from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. NJPW World TV Championship match is also set for the event, where Zack Sabre Jr. will face Mike Bailey.
