NJPW Adds 4 More Matches to NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed
NJPW has added four more matches for NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2023 event with matches featuring IWGP Champion Sanada and Tetsuya Naito.
Sanada is also set for the event where he and Yuya Uemura will face Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi in a tag team match. Sanada is also set for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 event, where he will defend his IWGP World Heavyweight Title against Tetsuya Naito.
ELP and Hikuleo are also set for the event, where they will defend their NJPW Strong Tag Team title against Alex Zayne and Lance Archer. El Phantasmo and Hikuleo secured the NJPW Strong Tag Team title at the NJPW Destruction In Ryogoku 2023 event by defeating the Bullet Club War Dogs. Their upcoming match will mark their first title defense.

Jeff Cobb and Alex Coughlin are also set for the event, where they will face Satoshi Kojima and Fred Rosser in a tag team match. Jeff Cobb’s most recent match took place at the NJPW Destruction In Ryogoku 2023 event, during which he and his fellow United Empire stablemates suffered a defeat at the hands of Los Ingobernables de Japan.
Gabe Kid will face Tom Lawlor in a one-on-one match. Kid recently lost his NJPW Strong Tag Team title at NJPW Destruction In Ryogoku 2023 event. Lawlor’s previous fight in NJPW was at the AEW Forbidden Door 2023 event, where he emerged victorious against Serpentico during the zero-hour show.
Giulia is also set for the event, where she will defend her NJPW Strong Women’s title against Hyan. Giulia’s latest title defense took place at a Stardom event, where she successfully defeated Ami Sourei. Additionally, Hyan is set to make her debut in NJPW.
Eddie Kingston will defend his NJPW Strong Openweight title against HENARE at NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2023 event. Kingston’s most recent title defense occurred on the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, during which he secured a victory over Minoru Suzuki.
An eight-man tag team match is also set for the event, where Atlantis, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Mistico, and Atlantis Jr. will face Rocky Romero, Tiger Mask, Soberano Jr. and Adrian Quest.
Stephanie Vaquer and Zeuxis are also set for the event where they will face Lluvia and Johnnie Robbie.
NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed event is scheduled for October 28, 2023, and it will be live from Sam’s Town in Las Vegas, NV.
