Young Bucks Qualify For AEW Revolution, Buy-In Matches Revealed
The matches for Buy-In pre-show for AEW Revolution 2022 PPV has been revealed now.
Former friends – Kris Statlander and Leyla Hirsch are feuding ever since Statlander defeated Hirsch in a singles match at AEW Rampage Christmas edition. The in-fighting cost them a tag team match against Nyla Rose, Penelope Ford & The Bunny on the January 14 episode of Rampage. Hirsch later attacked Statlander backstage.
AEW has now revealed that Statlander vs Hirsch rematch will take place at the buy-in show for AEW Revolution 2022 PPV. Both women were involved in a pre-recorded promo battle at Dynamite this week where Hirsch took offense to Statlander’s earlier statement that Hirsch herself was responsible for her parents putting her for adoption.
We will also have a master vs student match at pre-show as Hook will take on his former coach QT Marshall. Last week at Rampage, Marshall called out Hook on the disrespect he has shown towards his opponents in his matches in AEW. Hook then came out and took down the security, forcing Marshall to run away.
In other matches, The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) are added to the AEW World Tag Team Championship match. The Young Bucks won the tag team Casino Battle Royale on Dynamite this week. ReDragon(Kule O’Reilly & Bobby Fish) qualified for the title match by winning a Battle Royal last week. Jurrasic Express pair of Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus are the current Tag Team Champions.
Additionally, Christian Cage and Ethan Page will face off at AEW Rampage this week for the last spot in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match.
