According to the reports, AEW superstar Miro signed a new extension with AEW that will keep him with the promotion till 2026.

Fightful reported that Miro re-signed with AEW, and this time it is a four-year contract extension. It was also revealed that Miro agreed to this deal last year, but he put pen on paper earlier this year.

Miro’s original AEW deal was set to expire in Spring 2022, considering the fact that he made his debut in September 2020, after getting released by WWE a few months back.

Miro’s last AEW match took place at the Full Gear PPV event where he lost against Bryan Danielson in the finals of the World Title Eliminator tournament.

He successfully managed to win the AEW TNT Championship in 2021 which he eventually lost to Sammy Guevara.

Currently, Miro is dealing with a hamstring injury. However, the reports are that he is healed completely and can make his return anytime soon.

Before coming to AEW, Miro wrestled in WWE under the ring name Rusev, where he was a three-time United States champion. He was released by WWE on April 15, 2020, due to budget cuts.
