WWE has made a major change to tag team title unification match at WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022 event.

RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro(Randy Orton) and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos were earlier announced for a tag team title unification match at WrestleMania Backlash event. The match is now turned into a 6-man tag team match with Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre being added to either side.

This week, RK-Bro and the Usos came face to face in a contract signing segment. However, it turned into a brawl when The Usos attacked after some taunts from Orton. As RK-Bro took the upper hand in the brawl, Roman Reigns came out to help them out. Drew McIntyre then followed him out to help RK-Bro, leading to a brawl between Roman and Drew.

Amid all this, Roman Reigns tore up the contract before the match could become official. Later, Paul Heyman tried to intimidate WWE Official Adam Pearce into changing the match to a 6-man tag team match. Pearce replied that he can’t change the title match like that, but Heyman told him that he should not have a difficult relationship with the undisputed Universal Champion.

It remains unknown what transpired after this, but the commentary team later announced a 6-man tag team match for WrestleMania Backlash event. Drew McIntyre is teaming up with RK-Bro taking on The Bloodline at the event.

Keep tuned in for more news and updates from WWE.
