Maria Kanellis berates Mike after Loss to Rollins & Becky

Maria Kanellis berated and buried Mike Kanellis after they lost to Universal Champion Seth Rollins and RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match on RAW this week.

Before they will face Corbin and Evans, the WWE power couple had to face another WWE couple on RAW last night. There was a backstage segment where Mike and Maria Kanellis approached Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins who made a surprise appearance on RAW. Maria challenged Lynch and Rollins for a mixed tag team match.

During the mixed tag match, Rollins battered Mike and tagged in Becky which also forced Maria to tag in. But instead of participating in the match, Maria tried to run away and announced that she was pregnant. Maria took the mic and started to berate Mike before he tapped to Lynch’s “Disarmher” finisher.

After the match, Maria continued her promo and told Mike that she is not man enough and that next time, she would ask the Man Becky Lynch to impregnate her. Mike and Maria have recently signed a new 5-year deal with WWE for around $500,000 per year. That’s why it is surprising to see Mike getting buried soon.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Maria is actually pregnant. That would be the explanation as to why she didn’t compete inside the ring. But they definitely got over with the segment.

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch will face Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans at Extreme Rules 2019, with both Universal Championship and RAW Women’s Championship on the line and the match will be contested under Extreme Rules stipulation.
