Mike and Maria Kanellis have reportedly signed a new 5 years contract with WWE.
Back in January, some reports came out that the Kanellis couple has asked for an early release from their contracts with WWE. However, Maria Kanellis tweeted that it is not the case. But their appearances definitely increased from that point on in 205 Live. Maria Kanellis recently made it known with another tweet that she and her husband were nearing the end of their deals on 27 May, saying: “Contracts are up in 3 weeks. Just saying”.
Now, Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that both Mike and Maria Kanellis have signed new WWE contracts. According to their sources, the duo recently inked multi-year deals and were happy with their final offers. Their increased TV time and some reassurances regarding the future storylines may have done the trick.
Mike and Maria originally signed with WWE in 2017. They started their WWE journey with SmackDown before moving to RAW in 2018 Super Shakeup. In the next few months, they only featured in the Main Event where Mike faced the likes of Zack Ryder and Chad Gable. They made their debut on 205 Live on 10 October 2018 and have been part of the roster ever since.
