The IInspiration Refused to Appear at WWE Royal Rumble 2022

According to the latest reports, the IInspiration (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay) turned down an offer to appear in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match. 

The IInspiration are the current IMPACT Knockout tag-team champions and was released by WWE last year. 

IMPACT’s Knockouts champion, Mickie James has already been announced to appear in the women’s Royal Rumble match and it is speculated that the fans might get to see more forbidden door entries. 

Fightful reported that WWE made a contact with Cassie Lee and Jess McKay and offered them a spot in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. However, the former WWE women’s tag-team champions turned down this offer as they think it is not the right time to return to WWE.

They are quite happy with the path they choose and don’t want to return to WWE yet. The IInspiration wasn’t the only WWE releases that were contacted by WWE for a one-night appearance. 

Now, it will be interesting to see who along with Mickie James will cross the forbidden door to appear in the Women’s Royal Rumble on January 29.
