Goldberg Reveals That He Has Only Two More Matches Left In His WWE Contract
Goldberg appeared in this week’s WWE’s The Bump where he revealed that he has only two matches left in his WWE contract.
The two-time former WWE Universal Champion answered the questions sent by the fans on WWE’s The Bump social media page. The very first question was about Goldberg’s favorite WWE match. In response, Goldberg answered it to be his match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series 2016.
Wrestling Inc provided the transcription of Goldberg’s WWE’s The Bump interview. During the Q&A session, Goldberg was asked which superstar from the past he would choose to compete for the tag team title and he replied “Bruiser Brody.”
In the last question, the fans asked him who will he choose between John Cena and Roman Reigns and whose team he is in for the Universal Championship match at SummerSlam. Goldberg replied, “I’m team neither one of them. Neither one has stared across the ring and seen me as an opponent. So, I look at both of them the same: they’re just future victims.”
Goldberg praised both these superstars and showed his interest in having a match against Reigns and Cena in the near future. However, before the end of his interview, Goldberg said, “Hey, I’ve only got two more matches on my deal here, so we’ll see what happens.”
Now, it will be interesting to see whether Goldberg will have these dream matches or not. Currently, the superstar is scheduled to face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam on August 21.
