FTR Clash, Shida vs Deeb Street Fight Set on AEW Dynamite April 27
Several big matches are revealed for AEW Dynamite episode of April 27, 2022, including FTR duo facing off in a singles match.
FTR’s Cash Wheeler and Dash Harwood will clash in a singles match for Owen Hart Foundation Tournament qualifier. The winner will advance to round 1 of the knockout tournament. This is the first-ever documented match between the current ROH and AAA Tag Team Champions.
Sammy Guevara will defend the AEW TNT Championship in a ladder match against Scorpio Sky. Sammy won the title back from Sky at Battle of the Belts II event. Sky asked for an immediate rematch as Sammy used a low blow in the finish to their match at Battle of the Belts II. This week on Dynamite, Sky(with Ethan Page and Dan Lambert) interrupted Sammy and asked for a title shot. Sammy agreed to it after Sky agreed that he and Tay Conti will face Sky and Paige Vanzant in a mixed tag team match.
Additionally, MJF has picked the next opponent for Wardlow. Wardlow easily defeated The Butcher this week on Dynamite. MJF has now called upon the services of Lance Archer to hurt Wardlow. MJF offered some cash to Jake “The Snake” Roberts for Archer’s services, but Archer said he does not require any money to beat up Wardlow.
The rivalry between Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb might end next week on Dynamite with a Philly Street Fight. Deeb and Shida have been feuding since AEW Dynamite second anniversary show where Deeb defeated Shida. Shida won the next two matches after that before Deeb won another match at January 12 episode of Dynamite this year. Shida got injured(kayfabe) during that match was on sidelines for more than a month.
The Undisputed Elite(Adam Cole, ReDragon & The Young Bucks) have put out an open challenge for a 10-man tag team match. The open challenge is answered by Dante Martin, Lee Moriarty, Brock Anderson, Brian Pillman Jr., and Griff Garrison.
