Edge defeated Seth Rollins in a Brutal Hell in a Cell Match at Crown Jewel

There couldn’t have been a better way to kick off WWE Crown Jewel 2021. Edge defeated Seth Rollins in a brutal competition inside Hell in a Cell to end their trilogy. 

The Hell in a Cell match between Edge and Seth Rollins has been violent from the start till the beginning. There have been several jaw-dropping moments in the match that amazed the fans in the Abdu Arena. 

During the match, there was a moment when Edge pushed Rollins off the top rope. Rollins first hit the cage before crashing into the table below. Rollins also tried to injure the eye of Edge with a part of the steel chair. In the final few moments, Seth Rollins even wrapped a steel chain around his feet and kicked Edge on the face. 

Edge still survives somehow and then puts on the crossface using the steel bar. However, when Rollins was about to give up he pulled out the move. After that Edge used Rollins’s signature move and hit the stomp on the steel chair to get the pinfall. With this victory, Edge ended his Rollins trilogy. 

Their rivalry began when Seth Rollins was miffed with the fact that he was overlooked for the Universal Championship match at Money in the Bank after Edge made his return. Rollins interfered and cost Edge the title match at Money in the Bank to kickstart the rivalry. Edge defeated Rollins in their match at SummerSlam.

Rollins continued to pursue Edge and went on to defeat him at the Super SmackDown episode at Madison Square Garden. Edge was stretchered out of the arena after Rollins hit him with a stomp. Even as Edge was recovering, Rollins started calling him out, leading to Edge returning to SmackDown. Rollins trespassed Edge’s home, which enraged Edge to call for a Hell in a Cell match between them.
