Luke Harper made his WWE return on Clash of Champions this Sunday to help out Erick Rowan. The Bludgeon Brothers destroyed Roman Reigns and it led to Erick Rowan winning the no Disqualification match.
This week at SmackDown, Rowan sat down with Micheal Cole for an interview. Rowan explained that he attacked Roman Reigns just to scare him. He felt like being over-looked and under-appreciated for too long and being treated like a puppet. When Cole asked him why did he betray Daniel Bryan, Rowan replied that Bryan was mistaken when he thought that they are intellectual equals, and he is better than Bryan and Reigns and others.
In the final segment of the night, Daniel Bryan cut another fine promo which brought out Rowan to confront him. When Rowan once again said that Bryan disrespected him, they went to blows. Luke Harper once again came to Rowan’s aid and attacked Bryan from behind.
Roman Reigns ran to take the game to the Bludgeon Brothers but a big boot from Harper transferred back the advantage towards them. The Big Monsters used various ringside elements like the barricade and announce tables to laid out both Roman and Bryan.
The recent speculation is that Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan will take on the Bludgeon Brothers at WWE Hell in a Cell 2019 show on 6 October. This segment will most likely lead towards that match.
Luke Harper was away from WWE TV since August last year after undergoing surgery on his wrist. After his rehabilitation, he was still not used by WWE. He put in a release request from WWE but was denied by the management.
