Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will fight it out once again in a RAW Women’s Championship rematch, set inside Hell in a Cell at the namesake PPV show on 6 October 2019.
Becky and Sasha battled at Clash of Champions in one of the best matches for the night. But the match ended in a disqualification after Becky accidentally hit the referee with a chair. Following that, their fight spilled out in the arena and the crowd and Becky ended up demolishing Sasha with a steel chair.
This week at RAW, Sasha Banks and Bayley faced the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in a non-title match. After Alexa Bliss was sidelined by a knee injury mid-match, Sasha and Bayley went to outnumber Cross to get the win.
Former Tag Team Champs then went continued their assault on Cross which prompted Becky Lynch to make the save. Next minute, Charlotte Flair, who is in a feud with Bayley, also came out against the Hug ‘n’ Boss Connection to even the numbers.
In a backstage interview later in the show, Sasha challenged Becky for the rematch. In an interview of her own, Becky accepted the challenge for the match inside Hell in a Cell. This is the second match announced for Hell in a Cell 2019 after the match between Seth Rollins and the Fiend for the Universal Championship.
