Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus Promoted for WWE Payback 2023
An advertisment for a Steel Cage match featuring Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus for the upcoming Payback PLE 2023 is doing rounds.
The Steel Cage match between Stratus and Lynch is being promoted for WWE Payback PLE in international markets and through WWE Main Event broadcasts. Although WWE has not made any official announcements regarding Lynch vs Stratus for Payback PLE.

On the August 14 episode of RAW, Stratus and Lynch were scheduled for a one-on-one match, but unfortunately, the match concluded with a countdown, leading to a draw.
The fight also continued in the crowd as well as into the concourse area, and Zoey Stark also made an appearance and joined in the assault alongside Stratus.
Later in the show, in the backstage area, Adam Pearce confirmed that Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus will face each other next time in a Steel Cage match, but Pearce did not reveal the date and venue for the match.
WWE Payback 2023 PLE is scheduled for September 2, at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA.
The rivalry between Becky and Trish has been ongoing since April this year. Trish defeated Becky at Night of Champions 2023 while two of their matches ended in disqualification over the last fews weeks.
