AEW Dynamite Sept 6: Allin v Wayne & Strong v Beretta Announced

AEW has announced two matches for Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament, which will take place on September 6, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW has made an announcement through a Twitter post, that Roderick Strong will face Trent Beretta and Darby Allin will clash with Nick Wayne for the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament.

Strong’s upcoming match will be his return to an AEW ring after 2 months. Strong wrestled last in AEW on July 1 episode of Collision, where he got defeated and injured by Samoa Joe in Owen Hart Foundation 2023 Men’s Tournament Quarter Final.
Trent Beretta was part of the Over Budget Charity Battle Royal at AEW All Out 2023 PPV event. The winner of this battle royal was Adam Page.
Allin and Wayne, who are good friends, are set to face off in a one-on-one match for the first time. During the September 2 episode of AEW Collision, Allin and Wayne had a heated exchange. Wayne expressed his displeasure with Allin’s decision to forgive AR Fox.
The tournament will progress on Rampage and Collision episodes this week. The winner of the tournament will face MJF for AEW World Championship on September 20, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite.
