Welcome to ITNWWE’s live results coverage for AEW Rampage October 6, 2023 episode which was taped this Wednesday.
4 matches are set for the show. A 4-way match is set for #1 contender for ROH World Championship where Lince Dorada, Komander, Johnny TV and Penta El Zero Miedo will clash. The Hards & Best Friends team up to take on Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker.
Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta will be in action while Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida will face Nyla Rose & Marina Shafir. Tune in below for the results and updates from the show(Spoilers are available here).
Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta vs Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker
Parker starts against Taylor and hits a big shot. Taylor hits back and tags in Baretta for some double team. Tags to Garcia and Jeff. Garcia gets dropped but starts to dance. Jeff engages in the dance-off. Menard takes a cheap shot on Jeff. Matt Hardy attacks Matt Menard in anger but the referee sends him out. Jeff is cornered with quick tags as former JAS members cut the ring in half. This continues for a couple of minutes. Jeff hits a DDT on Menard before tagging in Baretta.
Baretta hits German suplexes on Garcia before some elbow strikes and a superkick. Baretta hits a Death Valley Driver. The match breaks down with all 8 men getting involved. Best Friends and The Hardys take control, hit countdown punches before clearing the ring. They do 4-way Best Friends hug. Ex-JAS team attack them from behind and Hager runs over them on the floor to take control. We cut to a break.
Menard is in control against Baretta as we return. He knocks off Taylor. Baretta comes back with a dropkick. Matt gets the tag and hits body slams, kicks and side effects on several members of ex-JAS. Garcia is saved from Twist of Fate as his team triple team against Matt. Hager hits Hager bomb but Jeff saves him from the pinfall. Everyone starts to hit big moves one after the other. Garcia ends that sequence with a dropkick on Jeff. He goes for Boston Crab on Matt, who kicks him into Anna Jay on the apron. The team goes to check on Jay while Matt hits Garcia with Twist of Fate. The Best Friends also get involved as they get the pinfall easily.
Winner – The Hardys & Best Friends
Backstage, Sonjay Dutt interrupts Eddie Kingston and asks for a title shot for Jay Lethal. Eddie refuses and leaves after some arguments. Stokeley Hathaway comes in and says something in Dutt’s ears to make him smile.
We see a vignette for Danhausen’s return with him singing “Very Nice, Very Evil” to the tune of London Bridges Falling Down.
Blackpool Combat Club(Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) vs Colt Stevens & Levi Shapiro
Yuta and Shapiro start the match. Yuta takes control easily and puts on the abdominal stretch. Castagnoli tags in after a while and manhandle the opponents with ease. Castagnoli hits the giant swing on Shapiro. Yuta hits a dropkick while he is still swinging. Yuta jumps off Castagnoli’s shoulders for a splash to get the pinfall
Winner – Blackpool Combat Club
Backstage, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker snaps at Daniel Garcia when he tries to say that he was fighting alone in the match tonight.
Johnny TV vs Komander vs Penta El Zero Miedo vs Lince Dorado – ROH World Title #1 Contenders Match
Johnny and Penta trade armdrags. Komander and Dorado hit stereo dropkicks on them before hitting stereo tope suicidas on the floor. They lock up in the ring. Dorado hits a monkey flip. Komander hits the same but Dorado lands on his feet. He hits a hurricanrana before a backbreaker. Penta hits a dive on them both. He hits a crossbody on Johnny in the ring. Johnny hits a superkick. Penta hits a Canadian Destroyer to send him to the floor. Penta hits a senton dive on everyone on the floor. Johnny runs him over from behind as he was posing. We cut to a break.
Johnny TV is in control and hits some quick moves. Lince and Komander hit a tandem move to send him to the floor. Dorado sends Komander from the ring. He sends Penta into Johnny on the floor. Lince hits a suicide dive on Johnny and Penta. Komander walks the ropes and hits a double jump senton on everyone on the floor. He hits a rope-walk 450 splash to get the pinfall.
Winner – Komander
We hear from Ortiz who brings down Mike Santana’s strong persona that he is portraying. He claims that he will expose Santana and will take out his other knee.
Nyla Rose & Marina Shafir vs Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida
Shafir and Rose attack Statlander and Shida at ringside as Statlander finishes up her entrance. Statlander gets laid out at ringside. Shafir starts against Shida in the ring. Shafir and Rose keep control of the match with tags. Rose keeps beating down Statlander on the floor whenever she tries to get up. We cut to a break.
Shida is trying to come back as we return from the break. She finally counters and tags in Statlander. Statlander comes in hot against Shafir with some quick moves. Rose comes in for double team to beat her down again. The heels work on Statlander now. Statlander comes back via a blue thunderbomb. Shida gets the tag and hits a big dive to the floor on Rose. A Falcon Arrow on Shafir in the ring and Saraya’s Knight Cap finisher gets her the pinfall.
