AEW will present the Holiday Bash Special edition of Dynamite on December 21, 2022, which is set to feature AEW Women’s World Title match.
Jamie Hayter will defend her title against Hikaru Shida for the first time. The Elites will face Death Triangle in the fifth match of their Best of 7 Series. FTR vs Gunn Club was also announced for Holiday Bash Dynamite. Bryan Danielson and Ricky Starks will also appear live. Jamie Hayter vs Hikaru Shida
Last week, Jamie Hayter announced that she would grant a title shot to the winner of the match between Hikaru Shida and The Bunny. Shida defeated the Bunny on Rampage, and now she will be the first one to challenge Jamie Hayter for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Will Hikaru Shida be able to upset Hayter in her very first title defence?
FTR vs Gunn Club
At ROH Final Battle, FTR had an instant classic with the Briscoes, where the former lost the ROH tag-team championships. After the match, Gunn Club attacked FTR, which led to their collision this week. Which team will be victorious this week?
The Elites vs Death Triangle – Match 5
Death Triangle is 3-1 in the Best of 7 Series, and now they only need one more victory to win this series. In the fourth match, Penta hit Nick’s knee with a hammer before Rey Fenix applied a kneebar to get the victory. Kenny Omega then called for future matches to be no-disqualification matches as Death Triangle continued to use hammers. As a result, the fifth match of this series will be a No Disqualification match. Will The Elites put up a fight, or will Death Triangle win the series?
