AEW Collision episode of January 13, 2024, was at Chartway Arena in Norfolk, VA, as the first of a doubleheader event of the night with Battle of the Belts 9.

Adam Copeland had issued another open challenge. Who faced him? Deonna Purrazzo was set to make her AEW in-ring debut against Red Velvet on the show. FTR and Daniel Garcia clashed with House of Black in a trios match?

Brian Cage and Gates of Agony defended ROH 6-Man Tag Team Championship against Lance Archer & The Righteous. Tune in below for the results from AEW Collision January 13, 2023 episode.

RESULTS & UPDATES


Adam Copeland opened the show for Cope Open. Lee Moriarty answered the challenge.

Adam Copeland defeated Lee Moriarty in a singles match. Copeland got a submission via crossface.

FTR and Daniel Garcia were interviewed backstage. FTR wondered whether they could co-exist in this match, but they have the same ideology. Garcia said he feels that Collision is the place for him to grow if he wants to become a main eventer.

Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara were interviewed backstage where Guevara was hyped up to win the AEW Tag Team Championship later tonight.

Brian Cage & Gates of Agony(Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun)(c) defeated Lance Archer & The Righteous(Dutch & Vincent) to retain ROH 6-Man Tag Team Championship. The Mogul Embassy took control against Vincent heading into the match. Archer and The Righteous made a comeback. Cage saved Kaun from a pinfall before he cleared Archer from the ring. Kaun hit a pedigree on Vincent to get the pinfall.

After the match, Prince Nana took the mic to challenge Bullet Club Gold to face them at Dynamite next week.

Preston Vance for interviewed backstage for his match at Battle of the Belts. But, Roderick Stong and The Kingdom came in. Vance told him that it was his time and had nothing to do with Strong, so, they should not take the spotlight. Vance said he would give Strong the first title shot when he would win the International Championship.

Dustin Rhodes defeated Willie Mack in a singles match after hitting Crossrhodes twice.

Backstage, Bullet Club Gold made fun of The Mogul Embassy and accepted their challenge from ROH 6-Man title.

Hook was seen entering the arena and we were told that he would have a match tonight.

Christian Cage interrupted Dustin Rhodes’ interview and insulted him. Rhodes asked him to face him at Dynamite.

Adam Page defeated JD Drake in a singles match after hitting Buckshot Lariat. This was Page’s Collision debut match.

Deonna Purrazzo defeated Red Velvet in a singles match via submission using The Rings of Saturn submission. This was Purrazzo’s AEW in-ring debut.

Hook defeated Kevin Mathews in a singles match. Hook made a short work of Mathews with a couple of suplexes before putting RedRum to get the submission.

House of Black(Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Mathews) defeated FTR(Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) & Daniel Garcia. After a long match, Brody King hit Wheeler with a crossbody against the barricade while Black hit a moonsault on Garcia. Harwood was fighting Mathews when Black took a cheap shot at him and Mathews hit a curbstomp to get the pinfall.

After the match, House of Black attacked Matt Menard as he was checking on Garcia. FTR and Garcia hit back with steel chairs to close the show.
