AEW Collision episode of April 13, 2024 featured Blackpool Combat Club facing Don Callis Family in a tag team match to build-up for Bryan Danielson vs Will Ospreay match at Dynasty 2024 PPV event.

Toni Storm will take on Stardom’s AZM in an AEW Women’s Title Eliminator match. Lee Moriarty will take on Katsuyori Shibata in another singles match. House of Black will take on Action Andretti, Matt Sydal & Dante Martin in trios action. Tune in below for the updates and results from AEW Collision April 13, 2024 episode.

RESULTS

The show opened with the commentary team congratulating Jon Moxley for becoming IWGP World Champion. We were told that Moxley would appear on Dynamite on Wednesday.

Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castangoli cut a promo about their tag team match against Don Callis Family tonight. They brought up Don Callis telling his clients to hurt them. They said many have tried to hurt them, but failed to do so and Don Callis Family would be no exception.

House of Black(Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Mathews) defeated Dante Martin, Action Andretti & Matt Sydal in a tag team match. The losing team had lot of attack going on before House of Black annihilated in the final minute. Brody pinned Sydal after a cannonball.

Toni Storm was with her butler and Mariah May for an interview backstage. Mariah stopped the interviewer from mentioning Mira Shirakawa to Storm.

We saw a footage from Chris Jericho after his loss in a tag team match on Dynamite against Shane Taylor Promotion where he went to Taz to get Hook to talk to him. A segment between Jericho and Hook is set where Taz would broker the talks.

Katsuyori Shibata defeated Lee Moriarty in a singles match. Anthony Ogogo was on the commentary for the match. Moriarty gave a tough fight but Shibata was able to overcome him. He got the win after hitting a Penalty kick to get the pinfall.

Shane Taylor attacked Shibata after the match. Hook came out to the ring and Taylor stopped. They had a staredown before Taylor backed out to the floor. Taylor also stopped Anthony Ogogo from getting involved.

We saw how Athena retained ROH Women’s title at Supercard of Honor, and Billie Starkz becoming the inaugural ROH Women’s TV Champion. They were interviewed backstage where Athena downplayed Red Velvet’s threat.

The Undisputed Kingdom were interviewed backstage where Roderick Strong got mad at Lexy Nair for crediting Wardlow his success. Strong said his good friend Kyle O’Reilly has inspired him. He claimed that he would give Rocky Romero the beating of a lifetime tonight.

Daniel Garcia defeated Angelico in a singles match via submission using heel hook.

PAC cut a promo backstage thanking Okada for accepting his challenge and smashing him in the head with a chair. He said Okada may think he is God’s gift to professional wrestling, but he is wrong, which he will prove at Dynasty.

Toni Storm(w/ Mariah May) defeated AZM (w/ Anna Jay) in AEW Women’s Title Eliminator. May and Jay brawled to backstage during the match. Storm got the win by hitting Storm Zero.

Red Velvet was interviewed backstage where she claimed to lay out Athena in the main event of Battle of the Belts and prove that it was Athena’s mistake to come to her house.

Mark Briscoe was interviewed where he told House of Black that he fears no man and they should be afraid of him at Dynasty.

Thunder Rosa came out to the ring for an interview by Tony Schiavone. She thanked the fans for making her comeback special. She added that she did not need help from Deonna Purrazzo to bea Toni Storm, which she claimed to do at Dynasty and carry the pride.

The Young Bucks vs FTR match at Dynasty is announced to be a ladder match now.

Deonna Purrazzo cut a promo backstage said she would not help Thunder Rosa if she did not want it. She challenged Mariah May to a match next week where she would break her arm.

Kyle Fletcher and Powerhouse Hobbs were backstage for a promo. Fletcher said their mission tonight is to protect “The Golden Goose” Will Ospreay. Powerhouse Hobbs guaranteed that Bryan Danielson would not be able to walk out on his own tonight after their match.

Blackpool Combat Club(Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli) defeated Don Callis Family(Powerhouse Hobbs & Kyle Fletcher) in a tag team match. Claudio put Hobbs in the swing during the match, which was one of the highlights of this hard-hitting affair. Claudio finished the match by hitting Kyle Fletcher with the Neutralizer for the pinfall after Hobbs was knocked out to the floor.

After the match, Konosuke Takeshita and Hobbs attacked BCC before Fletcher also joined in. Takeshita hit a brainbuster on Danielson on the ramp before the show went off the air.
