WWE RAW Preview- 7 September 2020- Orton’s Dominance to Continue?

Randy Orton WWE RAW

Another WWE Monday Night RAW will air with WWE Thunderdome presentation featuring the rise of Randy Orton towards WWE Championship, more buildup towards Clash of Champions and more. WWE has turned a corner in the last few weeks and their programming seems to be getting better with every week. Expecting another good show this week on RAW.

Who will Stop Randy Orton?

Despite losing matches at back to back PPVs against Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee, Randy Orton seems to be gaining ground as the top heel of RAW. Two weeks back, he left WWE Champion with a fractured skull and forced him to sideline for a while. Then last week, he picked a perfect moment to RKO Lee and pin Seth Rollins to become #1 contender.

Week by week, Orton seems to be gaining ground on Drew McIntyre and WWE Championship who, we should remember, defeated Orton with just a roll-up. Whether McIntyre will be able to do something similar again at Clash of Champions is a question for another day. Right now, we need to see if someone else from RAW be able to put Orton on the backfoot.

Build Towards Clash of Champions

Last week, the WWE Championship match got fixed for Clash of Champions. Another probable match is Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax defending the Women’s Tag Team title against the reunited Riott Squad. The rest is still up in the air and a lot of storylines will need to buildup in the course of the next three weeks.
