The headliner was set to be ranked lightweight fighters Rafael Fiziev and Mateusz Gamrot. Fiziev was coming off his first UFC loss against Justin Gaethje at UFC 286. Gamrot bounced back from a loss to Beniel Dariush with a win over Jalin Turner.
The co-main event was set to be a featherweight bout between Bryce Mitchell and Dan Ige. A blockbuster women’s bout saw Marina Rodriguez and Michelle Waterson-Gomez in action.
