UFC Vegas 58 Fight Card, Dos Anjos vs. Fiziev Lineup

Rafael Dos Anjos vs Rafael Fiziev lightweight bout will headline UFC Vegas 58 or UFC on ESPN 39 event on July 9, 2022.

Taking place just a week after UFC 276, the event will feature the likes of Said Nurmagomedov, Jamie Pickett, Jamie Mullarkey, and TUF 29 winner Ricky Turcois among others.

The bout between Rafael Dos Anjos and Rafael Fiziev has been postponed twice earlier this year. The bout was first scheduled for the UFC Fight Night event on February 19, 2022. However, it was moved to UFC 272 due to visa issues for Fiziev. One week before the bout, Fiziev tested positive for COVID-19. Renato Moicano stepped up to face Anjos in a 5-round 160 lbs catchweight bout. RDA dominated the rearranged bout and won via unanimous decision.

That bout was RDA’s first bout in 15 months after he returned to the lightweight division to beat Paul Fedler in November 2020. Fiziev is currently on a roll with 5 wins in a row in UFC. His latest win came against Brad Riddel in December 2021. He has earlier defeated Bobby Green and Renato Moicano.
