UFC 300: Miller vs Green & Gaethje vs Holloway BMF Title Bout Set

Two lightweight matchups have been revealed for UFC 300 event and one of them will have the BMF title on the line.

Dana White revealed on Twitter that Jim Miller and Bobby Green will compete in a lightweight division bout, while Justin Gaethje is slated to defend his BMF title against Max Holloway at UFC event on April 13, 2024.

Justin Gaethje is scheduled to defend his BMF title against Max Holloway. Gaethje secured the BMF title at the UFC 291 event, achieving a knockout victory over Dustin Poirier, which also earned him the UFC Performance of the Night accolade. Before facing Poirier, Gaethje triumphed over Rafael Fiziev with a majority decision at UFC 286 event.

Max Holloway is currently on a two-fight winning streak. His recent fight was at UFC Singapore event, where he defeated Chan Sung Jung via KO. Before the fight against Jung, Holloway defeated Arnold Allen via unanimous decision at UFC Kansas City event.

Jim Miller was long speculated to be on the card. Miller was also on the card at UFC 100 and UFC 200 event and is the athlete with the highest number of UFC bouts till date. In his 43 UFC bouts, Miller stands at 26 wins, 16 losses, and 1 no-contest. He is currently on a two-fight winning streak with wins over Gabriel Benítez at UFC Vegas 84 and Jesse Butler at UFC Vegas 74 event.

Bobby Green’s most recent fight took place at the UFC Austin event, where he suffered a defeat to Jalin Turner via knockout. This loss signifies the conclusion of Green’s two-fight winning streak. His current UFC record is 12 wins, 10 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no-contest.

UFC 300 PPV event is set for April 13, 2024, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. A women’s strawweight title bout is also announced for the event, where Zhang Weili will face Xiaonon Yan.
