UFC 289 Commentary & Broadcast: Paul Felder in, Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan will miss UFC 289 PPV and it will be Paul Felder who will be taking his place in the commentary team in Canada.

MMA Fighting shared UFC’s broadcast plans for UFC 289 PPV which is set to take place on June 10, 2023. The broadcast will start at 6 PM ET with early prelims card. Prelims card will follow from 8 PM ET while the main card will start at 10 PM ET as usual.

Megan Olivi will continue her stint as the roving reporter at UFC 289, taking ringside and backstage interviews along with providing real-time updates from backstage. Additionally, Bruce Buffer will once again take up the duties as the octagon announced.

Jon Anik will lead the commentary team at UFC 289 as usual. Fighter-turned commentator Paul Felder is one of the color commentators on the card. Former two-division champion Daniel Cormier will be the other color commentator.

Joe Rogan has missed several PPV cards outside the US in the last two years. He missed UFC 283 in Brazil, UFC 284 in Australia, and the commentary team for UFC 286 in London, UK this year.

UFC 289 is headlined by a women’s bantamweight title bout between Amanda Nunes and Irene Aldana. Former Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira takes on Beniel Dariush in the co-main event.
