Tony Ferguson vs Paddy Pimblett Announced for UFC 296 PPV
A fight between Tony Ferguson and Paddy Pimblett is set to take place at UFC 296 event scheduled for December.
The news was revealed by Dana White via social media. Ferguson and Pimblett are set to clash in a lightweight bout at the UFC’s December 16 Fight Night event in United States.

Tony Ferguson is presently experiencing a run of six consecutive losses in his fights. His most recent bout took place at UFC 291 against Bobby Green, where he suffered a submission defeat. Prior to facing Green, Ferguson also faced a loss at the hands of Nate Diaz.
Paddy Pimblett is currently enjoying a six-fight winning streak. In his most recent contest at UFC 282, he squared off against Jared Gordon and emerged victorious with a unanimous decision. Prior to his match against Gordon, Pimblett secured a win against Jordan Leavitt.
This will be the second year in a row that Pimblett will be on the card for UFC’s year-end PPV in Las Vegas. He is out of action since UFC 282 due to an ankle injury that he suffered at the event.
UFC 296 event is scheduled for December 16, 2023, and will be broadcast live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship bout is also set where Jiri Prochazka will face Alex Pereira.
