Chris Weidman vs Bruno Silva Reported for UFC Atlantic City
Chris Weidman and Bruno Silva are set to clash at UFC Austin City event.
According to the report from Laerte Viana, Weidman and Silva are set to clash in a middleweight division bout at a UFC event set for March 30, 2024.
Chris Weidman returned to octagon after more than two years at UFC 292 event where Brad Tavares defeated him via unanimous decision. He is currently on a two-fight losing streak. Before facing Tavares, Weidman suffered a loss against Owen Livesey in a Grappling match at Polaris 23 event. A former middleweight champion, Weidman’s UFC record stands at 11 wins and 7 losses.
Bruno Silva is currently on a two-fight losing streak. His recent bout was at UFC 294 event, where Shara Magomedov defeated him via unanimous decision. Before Magomedov’s fight, Silva was defeated by Brenden Allen via submission.
UFC Austin City event is scheduled for March 30, 2024, at Boardwalk Hall, situated in Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States. A middleweight bout is also set for the event, where Andre Petrovski will face Jacob Malkoun.
