Women’s Elimination Chamber Announced for #1 Contender for WrestleMania
WWE has announced a #1 contenders Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber 2022 event. The winner will face WWE RAW Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 38.
Becky Lynch remains the RAW Women’s Champion for now. She will face WWE Hall of Famer to defend the title at the Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia this month.
WWE has now revealed that the winner of the women’s Elimination Chamber will now be the contender to face the champion at WrestleMania 38. WWE has also revealed five participants for the match. Former World Champions Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH will be joined by former title contenders Liv Morgan and Doudrop in the women’s Elimination Chamber match for this year.
One name is not revealed for now. It is expected that either Asuka, Bayley, or Lacey Evans might fill up that spot. All these names were also rumored to return at Royal Rumble earlier.
Asuka has been out of action due to a suspected arm injury but is reportedly ready to return to WWE. Bayley was announced to be out for 6 to 9 months with an undisclosed injury back in July. Lacey Evans is out of action since February 2021 due to pregnancy.
