Welcome to the live results and updates blog for WWE SmackDown for November 5, 2021 episode.

No matches are announced for the show yet. But WWE has teased whether Bloodline, Universal Champion Roman Reigns and SmackDown Tag Team Champion The Usos, can maintain control over SmackDown or not. Last week, New Day pair of King Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston defeated The Usos in a tag team match.

With Survivor Series looming, Bloodline could be in line with a stiff challenge from WWE Champion Big E and New Day. Additionally, a feud between Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin is teased. More build-up for Survivor Series is expected to start with this show. Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Shotzi’s feud will also continue.

  • Shayna Baszler defeated Naomi in a singles match via referee stoppage.
  • Los Lotharios(Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo) defeated Mansoor & Cesaro in a tag team match via pinfall.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated Ricochet in a singles match via pinfall.
  • The Viking Raiders(Erik & Ivar) defeated Happy Corbin & Madcapp Moss in a tag team match via count-out.
  • Xavier Woods defeated Jimmy Uso in a singles match via pinfall.

The Bloodline

Roman Reigns opens the show with The Usos and Paul Heyman. He poses at the stage with Universal Championship along with The Usos raising their tag team titles. We see the replay from New Day defeating The Usos last week in a tag team match. Roman takes the mic and says he took a vacation for smashing Brock Lesnar. He has had fun but it was not much fun for others like Brock Lesnar getting fined for $1 million.

Roman then asks what else happened last week. Heyman rambles about his rant, but Roman interjects again. Heyman hesitatingly says The Usos were defeated by New Day, but the titles were not on the line. The crowd starts “New Day Rocks” chants and Roman smiles at the camera sarcastically. He says he is having trouble thinking how they lost to New Day. He asks them which one got pinned. They both point to each other, before it was confirmed that it was Jimmy.

Roman asks Jimmy what he will do to make up for it. Jimmy says he will make them pay and he will make them acknowledge who the real king is and will force them to acknowledge Roman. New Day interrupts and Woods takes shots at Roman Reigns “Head of the Table” and “Island of Relevancy” monikers. Woods says if Jimmy defeats him tonight, he will have no problem acknowledging Roman. But if Jimmy loses, he will have to bend the knees to King Woods.

Jey takes the mic and tells him that the Bloodline is not bending his knees to anyone. Roman asks for the mic and accepts Woods’ challenge. Kofi excitedly announced Woods vs Jimmy match for later tonight.

Naomi vs Shayna Baszler

We see the replay of how Sonya Deville, the special referee, cost Naomi the match against Baszler last week. Naomi makes her entrance next.

Shayna makes her entrance. Sonya Deville is interviewed backstage. She says her behaviour has lit a fire in Naomi that we never saw before. She adds that if Naomi beats Shayna, she may give Naomi a match against her.

Naomi switches to a waistlock but Shayna avoids the Connor’s roll. Naomi hits Thesz press before Shayna gets a pin attempt. Shayna hits a release German suplex. Naomi drives her to the floor. Shayna tries to drag her from the apron but Naomi hangs on. Naomi drives Shayna ribs first into the apron. Naomi hits a crossbody for a two-count. Shayna goes to the floor for a breather. Naomi follows her and Shayna slams her with a pumphandle slam on the floor as we cut to a break.

Naomi slams Baszler’s head into the apron with a swinging tombstone. Naomi rolls up Baszler but she kicks out. Shayna transitions into Kirifuda clutch. Naomi uses the ropes to roll up Baszler and gets the pin. Sonya Deville comes out immediately and says Naomi grabbed the rope and it should have been a rope break. So, Naomi’s pin does not count. She orders a restart. Shayna grabs Naomi in Kirifuda clutch again and puts her to sleep.

Winner – Shayna Baszler

Roman Reigns is backstage with the Usos and says SmackDown was as bad as RAW just in a week that he missed. Jimmy tries to laugh it off but Roman gets serious. He sends the message that Jimmy better not lose tonight.

We get a new coming soon teaser for Xia Li who is seen swinging her sword.

Kayla Braxton is backstage with Ridge Holland. Holland says he can’t wait to meet his idol Sheamus. He says Sheamus handles his business like he does, and would fit in perfectly back home. Holland goes on about how everyone at his local pub used to watch Sheamus when he had a big match, including his WWE Title win over John Cena, the Royal Rumble win, and so on.

We get a replay of Shotzi lost a match after Sasha Banks tried to help her and how Shotzi snapped to destroy Sasha Banks afterwards. Kayla is backstage with Shotzi. Shotzi says she has had enough. She is lost title opportunities, her tag team partner and support of WWE Universe since coming to SmackDown. Then, she lost the biggest match of her entire career due to Sasha. Sasha Banks is her target and she will run over Banks and anyone else who gets in her way.

Mansoor & Cesaro vs Los Lotharios(Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo)

Garza started with a takedown and hits him with hard punches. Mansoor hits him with a bulldog. Garza hits a spinebuster and a shoulder tackle in the corner. Carrillo hits stereo dropkicks after hanging Mansoor in a tree of woe. Carrillo keeps control before Garza tags in for a double team. Garza stops the tag to Cesaro and hits another dropkick.

Garza puts on single leg Boston Crab. Mansoor fights back with an Enzguiri. Garza holds onto his leg to stop the tag. Mansoor hits a DDT and tags out to Cesaro. Cesaro runs in and starts an uppercut train from corner to corner. He drops Carrillo with a big clothesline. He drops Garza with another running uppercut on the floor. He hits a springboard corkscrew uppercut on Carrillo.

Garza comes in and Cesaro puts him into the swing. Carrillo drops Cesaro from behind but Mansoor breaks the pin. Some confusion leads to Carrillo hitting a superkick to Cesaro, who ends up knocking off Mansoor to the floor. Garza tags in to hit double team running dropkick as Carrillo holds on Cesaro in crossface.

Mansoor & Cesaro vs Los Lotharios(Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo)

Drew McIntyre vs Ricochet

Drew McIntyre calls for yet another open challenge and this time Ricochet answers it. Ricochet takes the mic and says Drew is the biggest and baddest men he knows. But he is playing with fire. Somebody will come and damage him. Ricochet slaps Drew, which makes Drew angry.

Drew drives Ricochet to the corner as the bell rings. He hits a big chop before tossing Ricochet with a belly to belly suplex. Ricochet uses a low bridge to send Drew to the floor. Ricochet with a kick from the apron. He goes for a headscissors but Drew counters and drops him on the apron. Drew hits him with another toss as they return to the ring.

Mustafa Ali is watching this match from backstage. Drew goes for a move from the top but Ricochet catches him with a dropkick. Ricochet with a flurry of strikes but Drew rocks him with a chop. Ricochet hits a springboard crossbody. Drew powers up and hits a big spinebuster. Drew goes from reverse Alabama Slam but Ricochet rolls him up. Ricochet goes for a springboard moonsault but Drew catches him with Claymore mid air in his moonsault to get the pin.

Winner – Drew McIntyre

Happy Corbin and Madcapp Moss are in the ring for Happy Talks. They welcome tonight’s guests The Viking Raiders. Erik & Ivar say they are here to raid Happy talks because it is corny and it sucks. Corbin says The Vikings look in a foul mood for guys who are still in their Halloween costume. Madcapp Moss makes a bad joke about Vikings and they throw away chairs from the set.

The Viking Raiders(Erik & Ivar) vs Happy Corbin & Madcapp Moss

Erik and Corbin start the match. Erik puts on the bearhug. Corbin hits him with a knee. Erik hits a big forearm and Corbin replies with a big boot. Ivar and Moss tag in. Ivar drops Moss with several strikes. Moss puts on a headlock before Erik tags in to drop Moss. He drops Ivar on Moss. Corbin runs a distraction for Moss to hit Erik with a spinebuster.

Corbin puts on a headlock. Erik sends him to the corner but Corbin drives him with a clothesline. Ivar breaks the pin and Moss pushes him to the floor. Corbin hits deep six on Erik but he kicks out. Erik counters against Moss and tags in Ivar.

Ivar drops Moss with a shoulder tackle and sends Corbin to the floor with a clothesline. Ivar hits a sideslam on Moss before a low crossbody. Corbin comes in but gets run over by Ivar. Erik comes in and drops Ivar on Moss. The Vikings were going for double team finisher on Moss but Corbin pulls him out of the ring and gets counted out.

Winners – The Viking Raiders

Xavier Woods vs Jimmy Uso

Jimmy starts with chops in the corner. Both try to hit armdrags but fail. Woods hits headscissors to send Jimmy to the floor for a breather. Jimmy slams his face to the turnbuckle. Woods catches Jimmy with a dropkick when he jumps from the top. Woods with big right hand and a chop. Jimmy hits him with a headbutt and then drops him on the turnbuckle. Woods is thrown to the floor as we cut to the break.

Woods is hitting Jimmy with big right hands as we return. Jimmy tosses him away and hits him with a hip attack in the corner. Woods hits a superkick and a big forearm strike. Woods drops him to the rope and hits him with a running knee. A dropkick drives Jimmy into the announce table. Woods hits the leg drop from the top but Jimmy kicks out somehow.

After the match, New Day ask Jimmy to bend the knee, but Roman Reigns attacks them. The Bloodline attack New Day until the show comes to a close.

Avalanche Samoan drop from Jimmy gets him a two-count. He follows with Usos Splash but Woods kicks out again. Jimmy rakes Woods’ eyes but Kofi distracts the referee before he could see the pin attempt. The referee then catches Jey helping Jimmy out. Woods rolls up Jimmy to get the pin.

Winner – Xavier Woods
