WWE RAW February 19, 2024 edition is episode #1604 and the go-home episode for the Elimination Chamber Perth 2024 event and is set to feature a singles clash between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. The match was set up after Drew attacked Cody two weeks ago.
Last Chance Qualifier Battle Royal match is also announced for women’s Elimination Chamber match which might feature Jade Cargill along with Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, Michin, Zelina Vega and Alba Fyre.
Jey Uso will try to end Gunther’s record-breaking Intercontinental Championship reign. R-Truth, The Miz, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano will take on Judgment Day in an 8-man tag team match. Tune in below as we bring you results from WWE RAW February 19, 2024 episode with highlights and updates.
RESULTS & UPDATES
The show opened with the footage of Jey Uso entering the arena earlier in the day.
Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre
We got a trailer to hype this match in between Drew & Cody’s entrances. A quick back-and-forth start led to Cody hitting a dragon screw leg before putting on figure four leg lock. Drew reversed it to take us to a break.
Cody hulked up as we returned but Drew hit a DDT. Cody then started mounting a comeback with his sequence. He got a near fall after hitting Cody Cutter. Drew hit knee to block Crossrhodes before Cody hit a clothesline to take Drew to the floor as we cut to the second commercial between the match.
Drew created momentum and hit a futureshock DDT before Cody hit a Pedigree. Drew countered a cutter with Glasgow kiss. Cody hit a cutter from the second rope for another near fall. Jey Uso ran out as he was getting ready for Crossrhodes. Cody punched him off the apron before Solo Sikoa hit him with a Samoan Spike. Drew then hit a Claymore kick to get the pinfall. Drew McIntyre def. Cody Rhodes.
We got a video package for how Gunther vs Jey Uso match was set up.
We got a video package for Andrade explaining how he is a third-generation superstar.
Cody Rhodes was in trainer’s room when RAW General Manager Adam Pearce came in to check on him. Cody told him that he was fine. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins also came to see Cody.
Last Chance Battle Royal for Women’s Elimination Chamber Match
Raquel Rodriguez is making her comeback with this match. Maxxine Dupri took Chelsea to the apron with a hurricanrana before Valhalla pushed Maxxine off the apron to eliminate her. Raquel eliminated Valhalla shortly afterward. Raquel then eliminated Xia Lee. Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre double teamed to work on Raquel. Raquel threw Isla over the ropes. Fyre tried to keep her on the apron but Raquel kicked her off to eliminate Dawn. We cut to a break.
Natalya eliminated her tag team partner Tegan Nox as we returned from the break. Zoey hit B-Fab with a big boot before Shayna joined her to eliminate B-Fab. Natalya sent Zelina to the apron. Elektra Lopez kicked her off the apron to eliminate her. Michin then eliminated Lopez. Zelina and Lopez then brawled to the back. Chelsea eliminated Candice LeRae. Shayna worked on Indi Hartwell and tripped her off the ropes to eliminate her. Raquel eliminated Alba Fyre. Raquel tried to powerbomb Natalya but Natalya countered it with hurricanrana to land on the apron. Ivy Nile kicked Natalya off the apron to eliminate her. Raquel, Michin, Shayna, Zoey and Ivy are the last four. Nile is then thrown out. Shayna and Zoey double teamed to clothesline Michin to eliminate her. Raquel countered Shayna to eliminate her. Shayna saved Zoey from getting eliminated a couple of times before Raquel booted her off the apron. Chelsea Green was not eliminated and sneaked back in. Raquel caught wind of her and threw her out to get the win. Raquel Rodriguez won Last Chance Battle Royal to get the final spot in the women’s Elimination Chamber match.
Backstage, Jey Uso cut a promo claiming to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
Rhea Ripley & Nia Jax Interview
Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax were interviewed in split screen. Rhea talked about how she would fight in Australia for the first time as a WWE Superstar and first time in 7 years. She said she had to remind herself several times during this time that she was the most dominant woman in WWE. Nia says she is twice the size of Ripley and has triple the talent, and Mami would go crying to her mommy when she would be done with her at Elimination Chamber. Rhea replied Jax would cry when she would hear everyone in Australia scream her name and her nightmares would become reality. Nia was seething hearing this.
R-Truth, The Miz, Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano vs Judgment Day(Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh)
Jackie Redmond interviewed R-Truth talking about Judgment Day which featured more tomfoolery from R-Truth.
After the break, UFC Fighter Michael Chandler was shown in the front row. He took the mic and called out Conor McGregor to return to face him.
The match started with Miz and McDonagh before breaking down quickly. Awesome Truth and DIY sent Judgment Day to the floor before doing the DX pose. The match went on and R-Truth got the tag to hit Cena’s five moves of Doom on McDonagh. Priest sent him into the ringpost to take us to the second break of the match. It broke down in Chaos with everyone getting involved with big moves one after the other. Priest and R-Truth were the only ones left in the ring after DIY & Miz dived on others on the outside. Priest countered with South of Heaven chokeslam on R-Truth to get the pinfall. Judgment Day def. Awesome Truth & DIY.
Sami Zayn was interviewed backstage. Zayn said he was stuck on his Road to WrestleMania. There is a path for him for WrestleMania and he hoped that it would present itself where he would end up doing something historic and that he would be a champion.
Women of Elimination Chamber
Becky Lynch came out and talked about her first Elimination Chamber this Saturday. She pointed out how she and Rhea Ripley had had face-offs several times in the last year and now it was hard to keep them apart. She claimed that she is at her best ever right now, and this was not a story of Liv Morgan’s revenge tour or of any other women in the match. Morgan came out and talked about how Rhea cost her tag team title and injured her to waste 6 months of her career. Raquel, Naomi, Tiffany Stratton and Bianca Belair came out one-by-one. Tiffany attacked Liv after everyone took their verbal shots to start a brawl. Nia Jax came out and attacked everyone to stand tall.
We got a promo from Shinsuke Nakamura about Sami Zayn.
Chad Gable vs Ivar
Back and forth match where he Ivar had things under control. Gable countered and hit Chaos Theory. He followed up with a moonsault, but Ivar kicked out. Gable turned it into ankle lock immediately. Ivar tried hard but had to tap out ultimately. Chad Gable def. Ivar.
Gunther(c) vs Jey Uso – WWE Intercontinental Championship
Gunther was in control heading into the first commercial after a spine submission and chopping Jey to the floor. Jey rallied after the break and put Gunther through the announce table with a Samoa Drop. Gunther hit a missile dropkick and a powerbomb to get a near fall. Gunther put on Boston Crab but Jey was able to get to the ropes. Jey hit a low blow and sent Gunther to the floor to take us to the second break. Jey hit a spear after the break but Gunther kicked out. Gunther took Jey down from the top rope before Jey went up again and hit Usos splash for another near fall. Jey hit another spear. Gunther went to the apron where Jey hit another spear. Jey hit tow more spears on the floor. He hit Usos splash back in the ring. As he went for the pin, the timekeeper’s bell rung. It was Jimmy Uso who was ringing the bell. Security came to deal with Jimmy. Jey hit superkick on Gunther before hitting a suicide dive on Jimmy. Jey went for another Usos splash but Gunther got his knees up and countered to get the pin. Gunther def. Jey Uso.
After the match, Jimmy attacked Jey once again and screamed that he would always be the big brother no matter how big Jey gets. Jimmy hit Usos Splash on Jey before closing the show with the One sign.
