Welcome to the live results coverage blog for WWE RAW December 18, 2023 episode, which will be the last live episode of the year 2023.
The show will feature 3 title matches. Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest will defend Undisputed Tag Team Championship against The Creed Brothers. Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven will take on Katana Chance and Kayden Carter to defend their titles.
The Miz gets a last chance to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship until Gunther is the champion. Will he be able to beat Gunther successfully? The build-up for WWE Royal Rumble 2024 will also continue.

RESULTS
- R-Truth defeated JD McDonagh in Miracle on 34th Street Fight via pinfall.
- Gunter(c) defeated The Miz in a singles match via pinfall to retain WWE Intercontinental Championship.
- Katana Chance & Kayden Carter defeated Chelsea Green & Piper Niven in a tag team match via pinfall to win WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
- Ivar defeated Akira Tozawa in a singles match via pinfall.
- Jey Uso defeated Ludwig Kaiser in a singles match via pinfall.
- Judgment Day(Finn Balor & Damian Priest) defeated The Creed Brothers(Julius Creed & Brutus Creed) in a tag team match via pinfall to retain Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
LIVE UPDATES
Judgment Day and R-Truth!
All 5 members of The Judgment Day come out in Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Priest asks to rise for the group. Balor addresses the Creed Brothers getting a title shot against them. It will be the biggest night of their career, but for Balor and Priest, it is just another title defense. Rhea tells Ivy Nile that if she runs her mouth again, Rhea will put her in worse condition than Maxxine Dupri. Dominik says Judgment Day runs WWE amid chorus of boos.
R-Truth’s music hits and he comes out saying he loves opening the show. JD McDonagh asks him what is doing out her. R-Truth says he is in the group and last week’s beatdown was his initiation. The group is about to attack him, but Priest stop them. R-Truth says he was hurt by the beatdown though – both physically and emotionally. JD tells him to get out of the ring if he is worried about getting hurt. R-Truth says everyone is looking for a fight, so, why not they put their beef off and do it in 34th Street Fight. McDonagh says the fight was already advertised. R-Truth proposes that the loser will have to leave Judgment Day. Priest likes the idea and adds the condition despite Rhea Ripley’s protest.
R-Truth vs JD McDonagh – Miracle on 34th Street Fight
R-Truth starts with a double leg takedown and quick punches. McDonagh dodges scissors kick and sends R-Truth to the corner. Dominik hands him a candy cane. R-Truth avoids the cane shot and hits scissors kicks. JD moves to the floor and throws a Christsmas tree at R-Truth, who ducks it. R-Truth tackles him and sends him into the ring again. He goes to hug Dominik, who sends him into the ring post.
R-Truth hits a belly-to-belly suplex as we return. JD hits him with basement slide on him. Back to the ring, R-Truth pushes JD down to the mat. Dominik trips him from outside but R-Truth’s head falls into JD’s groin to hurt him more. R-Truth whips Dominik into the steel steps. He sprays JD with fire extinguisher. He sets up a table in one corner before starting to hit 5 moves of Doom imitating Cena. He ends it with 5 knuckle shuffle.
JD rolls to the floor. R-Truth throws a tree at him. He sets up JD on the table and goes to the second rope. JD decks him before a headbutt. R-Truth falls off the top with JD going through the table under him. R-Truth lands on top of JD and the referee counts the pinfall. R-Truth is in Judgment Day.

We hear from Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, who talk about stars in their sky and are excited about their title shot tonight.
Nia Jax & Becky Lynch Promo
Nia Jax comes out to the ring before the break. She takes the mic after the break, but Becky Lynch comes out before she can say anything. Nia leaves the ring as Becky gets in. Becky takes the mic and dares her face her in a match. As much as she would love to break her face again, she has more important matters. Nia announces that she is entering Royal Rumble. Becky says nobody cares about Nia, but they care about her. Nia says they never fought because they did not want how it would end. They do not want their money maker to be hurt.
Becky agrees that she is the money maker for the company, but it is because she can fight anyone. She challenges Nia to face her right away. Nia gets enraged and calls for a referee. The referee gets into the ring. Nia teases getting into the ring but returns from the apron. She says since Becky wants it so badly, she is not getting it. Nia then says the match will happen in her hometown of San Deigo, CA, at Day 1.
We see R-Truth the Santa spreading some holiday cheer. He meets DIY backstage and hands them a Jey Uso shirt. DIY then see The Miz warming up for his Intercontinental title match. They give him the best for the match. The Miz gets interviewed where he says he has rocked the foundation of Gunther’s game and he will dethrone him tonight.
Gunter(c) vs The Miz – WWE Intercontinental Championship
Gunther puts on a side headlock. Miz gets to the ropes to break. Gunther gets a double leg takedown, but Miz blocks a Boston Crab by getting to the ropes. Miz hits a chop and calf kicks. Gunther drops him with a big chop. Miz quickly puts him in a leg lock. He transitions into Indian Death lock quickly. Gunther hits him with a big chop, but Miz fires back with punches. Gunther slips to the floor and hits a powerbomb on the apron when Miz comes out. We cut to a break.
Gunther cuts off Miz’s momentum with a big boot. Miz hits running forearms before Gunther cuts him off with a big chop. Gunther mocks him with some trash talks and kicks. They hit back-and-forth chops, but Gunther breaks it quickly with an uppercut. He hits several knee strikes in the corner. Miz fights back with a big boot and a running knee. Gunther catches his crossbody and slams him into the corner. He boots Miz on the top rope. Miz falls to the floor. Gunther goes for a chop, but Miz ducks and Gunther’s hand strikes the ring post. Gunther is screaming in pain as we cut to another break.
Miz is trying to work on the arm, but Gunther goes for a Boston Crab. Miz grabs his injured palm to block it. Miz blocks a chop and drops Gunther with a DDT. He hits a tilt-a-whirl DDT to get a two-count. He stomps on the arm after this. Gunther hits a shotgun dropkick and a powerbomb to get a two-count. Gunther puts on a Boston Crab in one swift transition. Miz gets to the ropes as Gunther’s grip lossens from his injured arm. Gunther hits some chops. Miz hits back with slap.
Miz counters a sleeper into a pinfall attempt, but Gunther is able to kick out as late as one can. Miz hits Skull Crushing Finale to get another near fall. Gunther hits a lariat to drop Miz. He gets to the top rope. Miz meets him there and hits a Skull Crushing Finale from the second rope. Gunther rolls to the floor to avoid the pin. Miz brings him back into the ring. Gunther hits a powerbomb, a short-arm lariat and another powerbomb to get the pinfall.
Winner – Gunther
We get a video package for The Creed Brothers.
Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci welcome Gunther backstage. Gunther goes on to berate them for not achieving anything the whole year. So, he is gonna take a break for the next few weeks, but they should keep grinding. Gunther leaves. Kofi Kingston comes in dressed as Santa. Kaiser and Vinci are in foul mood, but Kofi gifts them coal to enrage them some more.
Shinsuke Nakamura features in a segment titled “The American Nightmare Before Christmas”. He recites a poem revisting what happened last week and calling him names. He ends it by saying that he will be his last fight. Cody Rhodes comes out of nowhere to attack him. Cody continues to beat him up and take him into the crowd. Security try to pull him back, but this allows Nakamura to hit back. Nakamura gets to ringside as Cody is held back. Cody fights off security and come to ringside to clear the announce table. He hits a suicide dive on the security and takes Nakamura to the table. The security pulls Nakamura off him. Nakamura walks to the back.
Akira Tozawa is backstage with Adam Pearce. Pearce asks him if he seriously wants this match. Tozawa hypes up. Pearce agrees to give him the match he wants. Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven come in. Green asks him if he is seriously making them defend their titles in holiday season. They request Pearce to cancel the match with googly eyes, but Pearce declines. Bronson Reed then comes in and says since Pearce has plans to find the next contender for Gunther, they need to talk.
Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs Katana Chance & Kayden Carter – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Carter puts on leg scissors to start the match. She puts on a side headlock after this. Chelsea rains punches on her and walks over her. Carter hits an armdrag and tags in Chance. Chance trips Chelsea and hits a springboard senton. Chelsea tags in Piper. Piper knocks Carter off the apron. She corners Chance to unload. Chance ducks and tags in Carter. Piper drops her with a side slam before she goes out. Carter tries to create momentum. She gets to the top rope, but has to fight off Chelsea on the apron. Chance tags in. Piper drops both opponents to the mat. She hits a Vader bomb in the corner. Chance kicks out of the pinfall. We cut to a break.
Green gets a tag as we return. Chance ducks her and tags in Carter hits a dropkick, running tackle and more on both opponents. She goes for a pin on Chelsea and gets away when Piper tries to break it, but ends up hitting Chelsea with a splash. Chelsea kicks out. Piper tags in and runs riot. Chance and Carter fight back. Carter hits a superkick to drop Piper. Carter and Chance hits kickstand finisher on Piper. Chelsea breaks the pinfall and tags herself in. Chance blocks the Unprettier and hits a lungblower. Carter tags in and holds Chelsea as Chance hits the AfterParty senton. Carter covers Chelsea to get the pinfall.

Alpha Academy are backstage and they are hyping up Ivy Nile before her showdown with Rhea Ripley tonight. Akira Tozawa comes in and reveals that he is facing Ivar tonight. Chad Gable says when he told him to go big in the new year, he didn’t mean that big. Ivar and Valhalla come in and have a face off before heading out.
After the break, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter are backstage where they find Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell congratulating them. Kofi Kingston, still dressed as Santa Claus, also come in to congratulate them. He asks what they want for Christmas this year. They say they got everything they want tonight. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark and the team of Natalya and Tegan Nox. LeRae and Hartwell go with the champions. The other two teams face off saying that they need new contenders to challenge for tag team titles.
Akira Tozawa vs Ivar
Tozawa shows off his speed and skills as he batter Ivar with punches and kicks. He sends Ivar into the turnbuckle with a hurricanrana. Ivar catches his crossbody but Tozawa counters to drop him with a DDT. Tozawa charges at him in the corner but Ivar counters with a sit down. Ivar misses a splash from the top rope. Tozawa hypes up and tears up his shirt. Valhalla tries to distract him as he gets to the top rope. Maxxine Dupri comes in and pulls Valhalla off the apron. She counters Valhalla’s charge on the floor by sending her into the barricade.
Tozawa hits a splash from the top, but Ivar kicks out of the pin. Ivar hits a spinning kick. He gets to the top rope but Tozawa trips him. Tozawa hits an enzuigiri on the top rope. He goes for an avalanche hurricanrana, but Ivar blocks it and hits him with World’s Strongest Slam from the second rope to get the pinfall.

Seth Rollins & Drew McIntyre Face-Off
World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins comes out in his home state. The crowd serenates him before he welcomes us to Monday Night Rollins. He says things around here have been heating up and After his little confrontation last week with CM Punk, he is feeling more motivated than he ever has to continue to be the best World Heavyweight Champion in this entire industry. He promises bigger and better things in 2024. Rollins wants to shift his focus on Drew McIntyre just as McIntyre’s music hits and he comes out.
Rollins tells McIntyre that he has not forgotten about the headbutt and warns him to tread lightly. McIntyre says he is here to tell him that he is proud of him. He gives Rollins credit for not kissing Punk’s a## like the rest of the locker room, and that is a real leader. McIntyre then draws parallel with Rollins’ wife Becky Lynch in their situation of being away from home as he goes on to talk about wanting to travel back home to so he could be with his family members while they were sick. But, they told him not to come and to continue chasing his dreams. He says they died and are no longer here, and all of that can’t be for nothing. He does not want that title, but he needs to beat Rollins for the title at WWE Day 1.
Rollins responds by saying he is not sure whether to believe McIntyre or call him on his crap. He says that he doesn’t hate McIntyre like he does CM Punk, but he does pity him. He tells him happy holidays and tries to walk off. McIntyre suddenly attacks him and beats him down, yelling at him that he doesn’t need his pity. The brawling continues for a while.
The Creed Brothers are warming up backstage for their match. Cody Rhodes walks up and thanks them for having his back last week. The mark out for Cody until he goes away.
Kofi Kingston is out to the ringside as Santa Claus. He gets attacked by Imperium. Jey Uso runs out to make the save. He help Kofi get up before challenging Ludwig Kaiser for a match right away.
Ludwig Kaiser vs Jey Uso
The match as started as we return. Jey starts strong. Kaiser ducks an enzuigiri and hits a clothesline to send Jey to the floor. We cut to a break.
Jey hits a step up enzuigiri as we return. He fires more punches before a kick, an uppercut, another enzuigiri and a hip attack in the corner to get a two-count. Kaiser counters with a slam to get a two-count. Jey cuts him off with a kick. Jey gets to the top, but gets pushed off by Giovanni Vinci as Kaiser distracted the referee. Jey kicks out of the pin though. Kofi Kingston comes out to take out Vinci. Jey hits a spear and Usos splash to get the pinfall.
Winner – Jey Uso
Judgment Day are talking backstage, mocking JD McDonagh. Rhea Ripley loses her cool. Damian Priest says he wants JD McDonagh out of The Judgment Day as he lost. McDonagh pleads to not get kicked out of the group. Priest says he’s not out for now. Ripley says they need to make an example out of someone and she has spoken to Adam Pearce to face Ivy Nile to defend her title against Ivy Nile.
Judgment Day(Finn Balor & Damian Priest) vs The Creed Brothers(Julius Creed & Brutus Creed) – Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
The Creed Brothers take the upper hand before we head to the first commercial break of the match.
Priest drops Julius on the floor. They return to the ring and Finn Balor tags in. Julius counters and tags in Brutus. Brutus manhandles Balor with several different slams after knocking Priest off the apron. Balor holds onto the ropes to avoid a German suplex. Priest tags himself in and kicks Brutus from outside. Balor throws Brutus to the floor. Priest tackles him over the announce table. We cut another break.
Priest is beating up Brutus as we return. Brutus catches him and hits him with an overhead throw. Julius comes in hot against Balor to hit a couple of clotheslines and belly-to-belly suplexes on both men. Julius hits a running shooting star press to get a two-count. Priest saves Balor from Brutus Ball. Brutus drops him on the floor. Rhea attacks Ivy from behind on the floor. Ivy gets Rhea up on her shoulder and drops her on the apron. The Creed Brothers hit Balor with Brutus Ball, but Priest breaks the pin. Julius jumps on Priest on the floor.
Balor counters Brutus with a slingblade and a shotgun dropkick to set up. He gets to the top rope, but Julius stops him. Priest gets in and picks him up. The Creeds hit Pearce with the Brutus Ball. Balor breaks the pin with Coupe de Grace. Balor then takes Brutus to the floor. Priest hits Julius with South of Heaven Chokeslam to get the pinfall.
