WWE will present a special 30th Anniversary episode of RAW on January 23, 2023, which will feature several legends along with two title matches and the final build-up for Royal Rumble 2023.
Several WWE legends are advertised for the show to celebrate 30 years of RAW. Sami Zayn will go on trial in the Tribal Court. The Usos will defend the RAW Tag Team Titles against Judgment Day, whereas Austin Theory will defend US title against Bobby Lashley. Becky Lynch will face Bayley in a steel cage match. Roman Reigns Holds Sami Zayn’s Trial in The Tribal Court
Roman Reigns was miffed with Sami Zayn due to his reactions to the attack on Kevin Owens two weeks back on SmackDown. After Paul Heyman asked for cooler heads to prevail earlier this week on SmackDown, Roman apologized to Sami and gave him some tasks. As a result of this, Sami was absent when Kevin Owens attacked Roman during the contract signing segment.
Sami eventually came out but was too late. When Roman recovered, he saw Sami holding the contract in his hand. Now, WWE is advertising that Roman will hold Sami’s trial in the Tribal Court. What are the charges that Roman is bringing against Sami? Will Sami be able to prove his loyalty towards The Bloodline once again?
RAW 30 Years Celebration
Several WWE legends will appear 23 January RAW episode to celebrate 30 years of WWE’s flagship show. WWE has already announced legends like The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Road Dogg, X-Pac, Bella Twins, Teddy Long, Diamond Dallas Page, Ted Dibiase, Irwin R. Schyster, Alundra Blayze, The Godfather, Jimmy Hart and more for the show. Who else will show up? Will we see any of the legends announce themselves for Royal Rumble match?
The Usos vs The Judgment Day
Judgment Day became the #1 contender for the Raw Tag Team Championship by winning the tag team gauntlet match. Finn Balor started off the gauntlet match with Damian Priest, but Dominik Mysterio stepped in when Finn got injured during the last match. Now, Dominik and Damian Priest will challenge The Usos for the Raw tag titles. Will we see new champions being crowned on the 30th Anniversary of RAW?
Bobby Lashley vs Austin Theory
Last week, Bobby Lashley won the six-way elimination match with a little assist from MVP and Omos to become the #1 contender for the United States Championship. MVP distracted Rollins, and Bobby hit him with the spear to win that match. Now, he will face Austin Theory for the US title. Will Bobby Lashley become the United States Champion once again? Will MVP and Omos come to his aid once again? Will we see The Hurt Business uniting?
Becky vs Bayley – Steel Cage Match
Last week, Becky Lynch called out Bayley, and the entire Damage CTRL came out to confront her. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky tried to attack Lynch, but then the latter accused Bayley of hiding behind Kai and Sky. Becky Lynch provoked Bayley, and the latter accepted singles match with her. Lynch asked will Bayley accept if it would be a steel cage match, then Bayley hesitated a bit but then accepted the match. Will this provocation prove costly for Bayley this close to Royal Rumble match?
Final Build-Up for Royal Rumble
