Welcome to the Live Results blog for WWE RAW March 21, 2022, from Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL. The show will continue the road to WrestleMania 38.

AJ Styles will return on RAW tonight to reply to Edge. He has been away from last two shows after Edge hit him with con-chair-to. A lot of storylines are also expected to continue. The first one being Seth Rollins’ quest to get on WrestleMania card. Bianca Belair got injured by Becky Lynch last week and WWE has updated that she is out of action for indefinite time period. Becky Lynch will address the attack tonight.

RK-Bro accepted challenge from Street Profits before Alpha Academy attacked both teams. RK-Bro will face Alpha Academy in a tag team match. Finn Balor will face Austin Theory in a singles match.

KO Austin

Stone Cold Steve Austin’s music hits and Kevin Owens comes out dressed as Austin, with bald head but with a beard. The cheers on music turns into boos as Owens gets into the ring. Owens starts to talk in Austin’s manner and asks everyone want to see KO unleash a whooping on Austin. Crowd responds with boos. KO asks the same thing again.

More boos follow. Kevin starts a “What” chant. KO, imitating Austin, says that everything KO said about the state of Texas was right. And Austin has figured he would do what he does best- drive a Golf Cart in the middle of nowhere and run his mouth to accept KO’s invitation.

The crowd chants for Austin, the glass shatters once again and Owens acts surprise. But, it was again a ruse as Owens starts laughing. Owens mocks the crowd for getting fooled twice. He calls for the Steveweisers but is unable to catch the beers thrown at him. He berates the crew for not throwing beers properly and tells the guy to come in the ring to hand him the beer. The guy does so, and Owens hits him with the Stunner. Owens cracks beers and pours them over this guy.

Seth Rollins is interviewed backstage and asked about WrestleMania. Rollins starts laughing and goes away with the mic.

The Mysterios(Dominik & Rey Mysterio) vs The Dirty Dawgs(Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler)

Ziggler and Dominik start. Dominik sends Ziggler to the floor with an elevated armdrag. Ziggler slams Dominik into the apron. Back to the ring, Ziggler & Roode double team on Dominik. Rey gets a blind tag and pulls out Ziggler to the floor with a headscissor. Dominik counters against Roode to send him to the floor. The Mysterios hit suicide dives and everyone is down on the floor.

Seth Rollins comes out on the stage while the match is still on and starts his promo. He talks about coming after Stone Cold last week. His mic gets cut off multiple times before finally being shut. We cut to a break as Rollins gets pissed off.

Ziggler is on the top, looking for a superplex on Rey. Rey punches him to the floor and hits a seated senton. Rey hits an enziguiri on Ziggler but Roode gets the tag and stops Rey from bringing in Dominik. Rey counters a powerslam into a tornado DDT. Dominik comes in hot and hits crossbody, hurricanrana, gamengiri, a senton and an elbow drop. Ziggler comes in and gets hit with a cutter.

Rey misses a dive on Ziggler on the floor. Roode hits a spinebuster on Dominik in the ring. Dominik counters to roll up Roode for a two-count. He hits a 619 and follows with frog splash to get the pin and the win.

Winner – The Mysterios

After the match, Ziggler hits zig-zag on Dominik. Rey chases him out of the ring, but gets cut off by the Miz. Miz hits a Skull Crushing Finale on the floor and takes off Rey’s mask. Miz takes the mask away as Dominik covers Rey’s face with a towel.

Rollins is backstage with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. Pearce says interrupting the show will not get him a spot at WrestleMania. Rollins asks them what will get him the spot? Sonya says they gave him the chance to get the spot last week, but he failed. Pearce says they will see what they can do. Rollins laughs at them sarcastically before going away.


Miz is backstage, talking on phone about Mysterio’s unmasking. Kevin Patrick rolls up and asks him why he took the mask off. Miz says Logan Paul had a childhood dream of having Rey’s mask. But, he was disappointed on meeting Rey in WWE. He rants for a while before daring Logan Paul to wear the mask on RAW next week.


We see the recap of segment between Roman and Lesnar last week at SmackDown – Roman running away scared, Lesnar tripping Roman’s SUV with a forklift and pulling of SUV’s door before declaring that he is coming for Blood.

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are announced to appear live on RAW next week.

Omos vs Commander Azeez & Apollo Crews – Handicapped Match

Azeez runs an interference and Crews hits a dropkick on Omos. Azeez grabs Omos’ leg, but Omos swats Apollo away. Omos gets on the floor to deal with Azeez, but gets sends into the ring post. Omos pushes Crews away from the ropes and gets into the ring.

The bell rings and the match starts. Omos slams Crews to the mat. Azeez comes in and but gets punched and dropped. Omis sends Crews flying in the air. He drops Azeez once again before hitting Crews with double handed chokeslam powerbomb on top on Azeez. Omos covers both men and gets the pin despite the referee taking time to make sure shoulders are down.

Winner – Omos

After the match, Omos says he is unstoppable no matter how many men are standing against him. He once again puts out a challenge for someone to face him at WrestleMania.

AJ Speaks

We get the recap of Edge’s promos from last week. AJ Styles makes his way to the ring. We cut to a break.

AJ says he has been nursing an injury and has to miss the chants. He says time can be bad thing sometimes as he continued to recall con-chair-to on him. And then he saw Edge’s promo in the last two weeks. He asks why Edge did it, but he does not care at all. He is just here to kick his teeth off. He calls out Edge to come out right away. When Edge does not come out, AJ calls him a coward.

Seth Rollins’ music hits and he comes out. Cody chants break out. Rollins ask them simmer down and says rumor does not make moments and he is here to make moments. AJ asks him what does Rollins want. Rollins says he is concerned about AJ’s physical and mental well-being. Rollins proposes that AJ gets back home, hug his family, get 100% and return after WrestleMania to take on Edge. And instead of him, Rollins would face Edge at WrestleMania and finish what he should have finished at Hell in a Cell. AJ says he would come to WrestleMania even if he is on one leg.

Rollins says that means he would have to take down AJ. Rollins proposes a match tonight with AJ’s match against Edge on the line. AJ says he is not getting suckered in the challenge as he saw what he tried to pull last week. AJ says let him deal with Edge at WrestleMania, and then they could clash after Mania. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville come out to the stage. They say they are willing to give Rollins one last chance. They announce AJ vs Rollins for later tonight and the winner will face Edge at WrestleMania.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Zelina Vega is backstage, trying to talk to Carmella about defending their titles at WrestleMania. Carmella is buys on her phone and ignores Zelina. Zelina throws her phone away to start an argument. Carmella slams Zelina’s face into the production crate to start a brawl.


AJ storms into Pearce and Deville in their office and rants against their management. He says he will fix his spot tonight by beating Rollins.

Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan vs Shayna Baszler & Natalya

Rhea takes down Shayna but Shayna puts on a hammerlock. Rhea drops Shayna once again. Shayna unloads with a flurry of strikes. Rhea hits a big shot and a dropkick before a scoop and a slam. Liv tags in and Rhea drops her on Shayna. Shayna wrenches her arm and tags in Natalya. Liv with knee strikes and running dropkick on Natalya. Shayna tags in after Natalya cuts Liv off. Shayna hits a running knee to get a two-count.

Shayna puts on Liv in an arm and shoulder stretch when Carmella walks out to talk with Corey and show him her injuries. Liv counters and sends Shayna to the floor. Liv was dragging himself to the other corner, but Shayna pulls Rhea off the apron. Natalya rolls over Liv in small package for a two-count. Shayna tags in and they hit Hart Attack for the pin and the win.

Winner – Shayna Baszler & Natalya

After the match, Rhea Ripley drops Shayna. Zelina attacks Rhea from behind with her scepter. Natalya gets to the floor and gets hits with a superkick from Carmella. Carmella gets into the ring and have a face-off with Zelina before they start laughing and pose with the titles.

Becky Speaks

We see the replay of Becky Lynch attacking Bianca Belair last week at RAW. Bianca has a fractured hyoid bone. Becky makes her entrance as we cut to a break.

Becky talks about what means having gain the world. She did that 8 months back at Summerslam by beating Bianca. She talks about relinquishing the women’s title and not having it for 15 months. This happened not because someone beat her, but she has drop the title. So, she had to get her precious back. She won it back when she returned. She realized what it means to have the title and on that day, she decided that she will sell her soul to keep the title with her.

Becky tells Bianca that Bianca would never have that feeling. The difference between them is that she was trying to injure her last week. Becky says, “eye for an eye, throat for a throat.” She would come for her hair, but Bianca is gonna lose her soul. Becky says Bianca could never sell her soul when Becky has already sold her. She would sell it everyday and twice on Monday to keep the title with her.

Becky says she would see her at WrestleMania if she could make it. So, what does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? She’ll show everyone at WrestleMania.


Back from the break, Veer is announced to arrive at RAW on April 4 episode.

We get a recap of Pat McAfee and Austin Theory on SmackDown last week. Theory is interviewed and asked about McAfee. Theory says Pat McAfee was smart enough to apologize to him at SmackDown. He says McAfee could not hang with him in the ring and he is not losing to McAfee with Mr McMahon mentoring him. He can also get McAfee fired from his job as the commentator by asking McMahon. Theory makes his entrance to take us to the break.

Finn Balor vs Austin Theory

Balor comes out for the match. Before the bell could ring, it is announced Pat McAfee will be the special guest commentator for this match. Theory is distracted by this development.

Theory tackles Balor to start. Balor rolls him up before Theory hits a kick to the face. Back and forth action and Balor hits a dropkick after a sunset flip. Balor stomps on Theory and he slips to the floor. McAfee gets up from the commentary table and talks trash on Theory. He does some “su** it” signs. Balor hits Theory with a shotgun dropkick to send him into the barricade. We cut to a break.

Balor takes advantage of a distraction with running forearm. He hits a double leg stomp next. Theory hits a kick to the gut and sends Balor to the floor. He slams Balor’s face into the announce table to show off McAfee. Balor turns it around and slams Theory’s face into the announce table a few times. Balor gets back to the ring to hit Shotgun dropkick. Theory avoids Coupe de Grace and unloads on Balor.

McAfee gets on the apron to distract Theory. Balor avoids ATL. Theory hits fisherman’s brainbuster on Balor for a two-count. McAfee runs another distraction and Balor gets Theory in a cradle to get the pin and the win.

Winner – Finn Balor

RK-Bro(Randy Orton & Riddle) vs Alpha Academy(Chad Gable & Otis)

Chad Gable gets on the mic before the match and says what they did last week was retribution, which is to avenge a criminal offense. He tells RK-Bro that it was criminal that they accepted Street Profits’ challenge for title match at WrestleMania. They have made their task to win back titles at WrestleMania harder, but they will win it back.

The bell rings as two teams are ready. Gable starts with a hammerlock and a side headlock. He transitions to an arm and shoulder stretch. Orton nails a punch and brings in Riddle to hit an assisted standing moonsault. Gable hits Riddle with a German suplex bridge for a two-count. Otis comes and hits a big tackle. Gable comes back and Riddle nails him with a Pele kick. Riddle hits running forearms on Gable and on Otis to drop him off the apron. Riddle hits senton on the apron before Otis sends him flying with a tackle.

Gable hits a spinning forearm as we return. Riddle rolls him up for a two-count. Gable kicks out and ends up sending Riddle into Otis to drop him off the apron. Riddle skips past Gable to tag in Orton. Orton hits a forearm, a running bodyslam. He hits punches to Otis on the apron. He follows with a draping DDT on Gable from the second rope. Orton gets ready for RKO. Gable pushes him and Riddle gets the tag. Gable clotheslines Orton to the floor. Riddle lands on his feet as Gable hits a German Suplex. Riddle hits Bro-Derek and gets the pin.

Winner – RK-Bro

After the match, Otis runs in and sends Riddle flying with a big tackle. He was looking for Vader bomb but Street Profits send him to the floor. They also drop Gable before Dawkins hits a spinebuster on Gable. Ford hits a frog splash on Riddle. Street Profits points to WrestleMania sign to send the segment.

We see WWE 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke and Reggie backstage. Akira Tozawa and Tamina attack Dana for 24/7 title but they manage to survive. Tamina ends up on top of Tozawa. Tozawa asks her if she is thinking what he is thinking. Tamina grabs her face and says he has cost her the title again.

Dana Brooke & Reggie vs Tamina & Akira Tozawa – Tornado Mixed Tag Team Match

Tamina has Tozawa on her shoulder and Reggie hoists Dana on his shoulders. Dana and Tozawa trade shots. Tamina kicks Reggie in the gut to get Dana down. Dana hits kick at Tamina’s knee to drop Tozawa.

Tamina is sent to the corner. Tozawa is whipped hard on her. Dana hits a handspring corner splash on both of them. Tozawa is knocked down to the mat. Tamina stumbles and drops on Tozawa’s groin with a headbutt. Tozawa screams and Dana removes Tamina from the ring before Reggies gets the pin with a rana pin.

Winner – Dana Brooke & Reggie

Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles – Rollins replaces AJ at WrestleMania if he wins

Fans are singing Rollins’ theme as the match starts. AJ wrenches his arm. Rollins rolls out of it. They circle the ring before AJ puts on a headlock. Rollins gets to his feet and they run the ropes before Rollins hits slingblade. AJ hits a back body drop. Rollins avoids a forearm in the corner. AJ drops him to the floor with a back drop. AJ hits a diving forearm to take us to the break.

Rollins has AJ on the mat with a chinlock. Rollins has hit a neckbreaker on the ropes to make a comeback. AJ fights back with some shots. He charges with rapid pace to the corner and crashes into the turnbuckle. He stumbles to the floor. Rollins waits for him as the referee counts down. AJ returns to the ring at 9. Seth hits a neckbreaker for a two-count. Rollins puts AJ in a Tree of Woe and hits a running dropkick to his face. Rollins covers but AJ kicks out at two.

AJ fights back with forearms. He hits a back elbow in the corner. Rollins trips him at the ropes as he goes for the phenomenal forearm. Rollins hits a suicide dive to take us to the break.

Rollins has AJ in another chinlock. AJ fights back with punches after Rollins shouts at him. Rollins fires back, only to get a flurry of strikes from AJ in reply. AJ with flying forearm in the corner and then a backbreaker for a two-count. Rollins with a takedown for a two-count. AJ hits a facebuster for a two-count of his own. Rollins hits a forearm and falcon arrow for another two-count.

Rollins goes for the stomp but AJ goes for a powerbomb. They reverse each other with sunset flips. Rollins goes for the buckle bomb but AJ ends up sending Rollins into the buckle with a suplex. Both men are down. AJ is climbing to the top. Rollins decks him and gets on the ropes. More back and forth before AJ brings Rollins down on his knees. AJ puts him in the torture rack before hitting a spinout bomb for a near fall.

AJ goes for the phenomenal forearm but Rollins counters with a superkick. Rollins hits buckle bomb. AJ gets his knees up on the frog splash. AJ goes for the Phenomenal Forearm but Edge slams a chair to his back to cause a DQ. It is announced that AJ wins this match and will face Edge at WrestleMania.

Winner – AJ Styles(via DQ)

Rollins gets made and starts screaming. He trashes the announce table and stands on it. Rollins gets on his mic and says this is bulls**t. Next week, RAW will not happen until he gets his WrestleMania moment. Rollins goes on to destroy the timekeeper’s barricade and the announce table. The show goes off the air.
