WWE has announced Cody Rhodes vs Shinsuke Nakamura match and CM Punk segment for December 11, 2023, episode of WWE RAW.

During the December 4 episode of RAW, Rhodes confronted Nakamura after being attacked by him with red mist in the previous episode. Rhodes expressed his desire to fight Nakamura.

Nakamura then appeared on screen and acknowledged their shared history of winning the Royal Rumble but falling short at WrestleMania. He expressed his intent to put an end to Cody Rhodes’ story. Rhodes then challenged Nakamura for a match. WWE later announced that they would face each other on the next episode of RAW.

Nakamura’s most recent singles match occurred on the November 20 episode of RAW, where he secured a victory against Chad Gable.

CM Punk is also set for December 11 episode of RAW. During this week’s RAW, Adam Pearce informed Rollins about attempting to sign CM Punk to the RAW roster. Rollins appeared displeased upon hearing this news.

CM Punk is also confirmed for December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown, where it’s expected that Nick Aldis will attempt to sign him for the SmackDown brand.

December 11, 2023, episode of RAW will be live from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Cleveland, OH, US. Below is the announced line-up for the show:
