STORYLINES
NXT Championship Match: Oba Femi became the NXT Champion at NXT New Year’s Evil by beating the reigning champion Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe. While Williams and Thorpe continued to feud, Williams kept an eye on NXT Championship and also warned Je’Von Evans to not get in his way. On March 18 NXT episode, Williams defeated Thorpe in a NXT Underground match before calling out Femi. Femi and Williams were engaged in a brawl when Evans attacked Femi. The following week, Femi cost Evans during his NXT Heritage Cup match against Lexis King. Evans started to brawl with Femi before Williams attacked Evans. On April 1 NXT episode, Williams called out Femi but was interrupted by Evans who also wanted a shot at NXT Championship. NXT General Manager Ava announced that Femi would defend the title against both Williams and Evans in a triple threat match at Stand & Deliver. After this, all three men were attacked by Darkstate.
NXT Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match: Stephaine Vaquer, NXT Women’s North American Champion, defeated Giulia, NXT Women’s Champion, at Roadblock 2025 event to become a double champion. On April 1 NXT episode, NXT General Manager Ava appeared with Vaquer to announce that Vaquer would vacate the Women’s North American title and the new champion would be crowned at Stand & Deliver in a ladder match. The qualifiers for this ladder match were as below:

NXT Women’s Championship Match: After Stephaine Vaquer won the NXT Women’s Championship from Giulia at NXT Roadblock while retaining North American title. She defended Women’s title against Jaida Parker on NXT March 18 episode after Jordynne Grace distracted Parker due to their ongoing rivalry. Vaquer agreed to vacate the North American title on April 1 NXT episode on the condition that she would choose her opponent for NXT Women’s title defense at Stand & Deliver. Grace and Parker interrupted her asking for a title shot before the trio was involved in a brawl backstage. Grace and Parker clashed on April 18 NXT episode which ended in a no-contest after inteference from Vaquer. Grace and Parker then attacked Vaquer, who was saved by Giulia, who also turned heel against Vaquer. Giulia then challenged Vaquer for a rematch at Stand & Deliver, but Vaquer announced that she would face Giulia, Grace, and Parker in a fatal four-way match.
