WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ Results & Live Updates(May 3, 2022)
WWE NXT 2.0 episode on May 3, 2022, will be a special TV episode titled NXT Spring Breakin’. The special episode will feature several high-stake matches including the bouts for the NXT North American title and NXT Championship.
Bron Breakker will defend his NXT title against Joe Gacy whereas Cameron Grimes will defend his North American title against Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes in a triple-threat match. Nathan Frazer will make his NXT 2.0 debut against Grayson Waller.
Nikkita Lyons and Cora Jade team up to collide against Natalya and Lash Legend. The Creed Brothers will face former tag team champions The Viking Raiders. Tony D’Angelo and Santos Escobar will sit down for a face to face meeting.

Cameron Grimes(c) vs Solo Sikoa vs Cameron Grimes – Triple Threat Match for NXT North American Championship
Sikoa drops Hayes with big shots. Grimes also takes a shot before Sikoa hits a back body drop. Hayes avoids double superkicks by escaping to the floor. Sikoa and Grimes trade pin attempts and also knocked off Hayes from the apron in process a few times. Hayes comes in and hits Sikoa with an enziguiri on Sikoa. He sends Grimes to the corner and avoids Sikoa’s splash to send him into Grimes. Hayes hits a slingblade on Sikoa and a leg drop on Grimes.
Grimes sends him to the floor and hits a crossbody on Sikoa for a two-count. Grimes ducks a clothesline from Sikoa which catches Hayes. Sikoa sends Grimes into the corner. Hayes brings him down with a twisting bulldog. Grimes is also dropped by Hayes and Sikoa hits a senton to break the pin and take us to the break.
Sikoa hits a headbutt on Hayes as we return. Hayes gets his knees up on a senton. Grimes drops him with running forearms. Hayes hits a boot in the corner. Grimes gets cut off with a superkick from Sikoa. Sikoa and Hayes fight in the corner. Grimes joins them for a tower of doom spot and all three men are down now. All three start trading forearm strikes now. Grimes hits a roundhouse kick to nail Sikoa. Hayes drops Grimes and Sikoa recovers to set up both men for a hip attack in the corner.
Sikoa hypes up after the hip attack and drops Hayes on top on Grimes with a powerbomb. He hits a spinning Urinage on Hayes and the pin has to be broken by Grimes. Grimes rolls through a crossbody before hitting double headscissors. Hayes counters Cave In with double knees and goes for a pin, but Grimes kicks out. Sikoa hits a splash on Grimes and the pin gets broken by Hayes. Sikoa goes for a Samoan drop on Hayes but Grimes hits him with Cave In to get the pin.
Winner – Carmelo Hayes
Mandy Rose goes to a tanning place. While she is inside the tanning pod, Wendy Choo sneaks in and changes some setting to mess us the tan. Rose comes out of the pod and meet Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin in the lobby. Jayne and Dolin are shocked to see Rose and say she looks like a strawberry. They advise her to remain inside for a couple of days. Rose screams in horror as she watches herself in a mirror.
Nathan Frazer is backstage for an interview. Frazer does not care about Waller’s social media game. Frazer rambles on as he is nervous about his debut.
Roderick Strong is backstage and berates The Creed Brothers, asking whether they are ready for The Viking Raiders or not. Creed Brothers tell him that they are in the zone. Strong calls in Ivy Nile and tell the group that he is the leader here and what he says would happen. Strong leaves and Julius sarcastically agrees with him.
Indi Hartwell is backstage looking at her empty finger(wedding ring removed). Duke Hudson comes in and they exchange a look. Indi then get disgusted at the thought of them being together and leaves. Hudson is also not very keen on them.
Grayson Waller vs Nathan Frazer
Waller tries to mock Frazer as the bell rings. They lock up and Waller pushes Frazer away. They lock up again and Waller takes advantage of his size to push Frazer to the corner again. Frazer uses the ropes to hit headscissors. Frazer hits a dropkick before a side headlock takeover. Waller tries to get out of lock but Frazer holds on. Waller succeeds in second attempt and drops Frazer. Frazer slips through Waller a few times in the corner and kicks Waller away to the floor.
Waller runs over to the ramp to avoid a dive. They brawl on the ramp for a few seconds before getting back to the ring. Waller takes control with some quick shots. Frazer avoids him in the corner and nails him with some chops. Frazer rocks him with more punches. Waller trips him on the ropes and pushes him away. Waller slides out and hits a clothesline on the floor. We cut to a break.
Frazer rocks Waller with an enziguiri to send Waller to the floor. Waller cuts him off in the center. He drops Waller once again to get a two-count. Waller mocks Seth Rollins’ stomp but misses it. Frazer rocks him with shots and sends Waller to the floor to hit a suicide dive. Frazer hits two back to back superkicks. Waller grabs the ropes to avoid the pin. Frazer goes to the top but has to roll through the moonsault. Waller hits a kick to get a near fall.
Waller hits a big punch to drop Frazer. Frazer puts him to the top and hits a dropkick. Frazer goes for the super Spanish fly but Waller drops back down. Waller walks the ropes but Andre Chase blows an air horn to break his concentration and Waller drops on the ropes. Frazer hits a moonsault to get the pin and the win.

Fallon Henley gets a new promo where she mentions that she likes horseriding and tells us she will be in NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
We see Bron Breakker warming up backstage.
Sitdown Meeting between Tony D’Angelo & Santos Escobar
Santos Escobar and Legado Del Fantasma are waiting for Tony D’Angelo. Tony arrives with AJ Galante. Santos tells Tony that Galante does not need to be here. Tony says Galante is a fan and he will be here. Tony says Escobar has disrespected him knowingly and unknowingly. Escobar replies that no one can trust Tony in NXT. They argue for a while and Tony gets riled up. Galante tells him something in his ears. Tony calms down. They agree on a peace agreement. They toast for the agreement before Tony leaves. Escobar does not look like holding onto his side of agreement.
The Viking Raiders are backstage. They says Creed Brothers are good but all the gym training is not gonna get help them much. Pretty Deadly come in and tell them they are facing damaged goods. The Vikings tell them if they interrupt again they will damage their goods.
Joe Gacy cuts a promo saying that he is the change and we are on the precipice of a big change tonight.
Cora Jade & Nikkita Lyons vs Natalya & Lash Legends
Lash and Jade start. Lash tackles Jade to the mat and then throws her across the ring. Jade hits back with forearms. She hits a headscissor next. Lash picks her up as she goes for double knees and slams her in the corner. Natalya tags in but Jade counters with some pin attempts. Natalya screams at the fans in frustration as they continue to chant for her opponents. Jade nails her with a big forearm.
Nikkita tags in and hits a kick to her face. A bit of back and forth with side headlocks. They both go for armwrench and reverse it. Natalya stomps on Nikkita’s foot. Lash comes in and trades shots with Nikkita. Lash hits a suplex. Lash hits a clothesline and both women are down on the floor.
Jade tries to jump over Natalya but Natalya keeps her away from her corner. Jade counters Lash as she comes in and sends her to the floor. Jade drags herself to her corner and kicks away Natalya to tag in Nikkita. Nikkita hits quick kicks on Natalya and knocks off Lash off the apron. Natalya hits an inverted bulldog for a two-count. Natalya goes for the sharpshooter but Nikkita kicks her away.
Lash gets a tag and hits a dropkick. They trade sunset flip and Natalya ends up hitting a big kick to Lash’s face in confusion. Nikkita sends Natalya to the floor. Nikkita hits Lash with a huge German suplex. Jade tags in and hits a diving senton to get the pin.

The Viking Raiders(Eric & Ivar) vs The Creed Brothers(Julius Creed & Brutus Creed)
Ivar drops Julius with a big tackle and knocks off Brutus. Erik tags in and hits drops both opponent with forearm strikes. More quick attack in tandem from The Viking Raiders. They hit Viking Experience on Julius but he kicks out. Julius counters with a cradle on Erik for a two-count. Brutus tags in and drops Erik. He tackles Ivar off the apron. Brutus hits a gutwrench suplex. Julius slams Brutus on top on Erik.
Julius hits a couple of punches. Erik gets his knees up and Brutus goes to drop Julius on top of him. Erik decks Brutus out of the ring. Ivar hits a splash from the apron on Brutus on the floor.
Erik has Brutus in a chinlock as we return from the break. Brutus hits a suplex and tags in Julius. Julius knocks off Ivar. He knocks off Erik from the apron and takes out Ivar’s knees. Brutus tags in as Erik comes in from the other side. Brutus slams Erik in the middle of the ring. Ivar is sent to the floor but Erik kicks out of the pin. Erik drops Brutus on his knees and gets a two-count. Ivar drops Julius on the floor. Ivar tags in and hits a powerbomb on Brutus to get a two-count. The Vikings double team on Brutus with Ivar slamming Erik on Brutus. Ivar hits a splash from the second rope for a near fall.
Brutus hits a headbutt and tags in Julius. Julius tees off against Ivar. Ivar replies with a seated senton on Julius. Ivar goes to the top again and Julius jump to the top to hit a superplex. Ivar clotheslines him. Erik comes in and Vikings hit overhead throw and a leg drop combo on Julius. Brutus breaks up the pin. Brutus takes Ivar to the floor. Roderick Strong takes a cheap shot at Erik and Julius hits a sliding lariat to get the pin.
Winner – The Creed Brothers
The Creed Brothers are not happy upon finding out about Strong’s assist.
Santos Escobar meets AJ Galante in the parking lot. He says Galante has been very helpful for Tony D’Angelo and it will be a big loss for him to lose Galante. Escobar hits Galante in the midsection. Rest of Legado Del Fantasma come in with an SUV and take Galante away.
Bron Breakker(c) vs Joe Gacy – NXT Championship Match
Breakker and Gacy land on the outside with Breakker’s tackle. Back to the ring, Gacy avoids getting caught with Breakker and moves to the floor. Breakker pulls him in and throws him across the ring. Gacy thought he has played possom to send Breakker into the turnbuckle but Breakker is unaffected by it. Gacy hits elbows to the back and puts on a chin lock. Breakker gets up and sends Gacy to the floor. Breakker hits some kicks from the apron. Gacy fights back with a shot at midsection. Gacy ends up dropping Breakker on the floor to take us to the break.
Breakker hits a knee as we return. Gacy brings him down from the second rope. Gacy hangs upside down from the top turnbuckle, similar to Bray Wyatt use to do in the ring. Gacy hits an Urinage to get a two-count. He puts on a chinlock again. Breakker gets to his feet and drops Gacy on the ropes. Breakker runs the ropes and hits a tackle to drop Gacy. Gacy hits an inverted DDT. A hooded figure has now appeared in the crowd. Gacy kicks Breakker to the floor. Breakker cuts off Gacy at the ropes and follows with a bulldog from the middle rope to get a two-count.
Breakker hits a big boot and removes his sling. Gacy avoids the powerslam. Breakker botches a belly to back suplex to get a two-count. Breakker misses in the corner. Gacy hits a leg drop on the lower back. Gacy hits a sitout powerbomb for a close two-count. Gacy goes for the springboad lariat but Breakker ducks it and hits a spear to get the pin and the win.
Winner – Bron Breakker
After the match, Breakker celebrates his win with the title. We cut to replay. Hooded men appear behind him as the show goes off the air.

NXT Title Match: The conflict between Joe Gacy and Bron Breakker is quite personal as the former involved Breakker’s father in it. Gacy is eyeballing the NXT title whereas Bron Breakker is looking forward to getting his hands at Gacy. So, who will leave the Spring Breakin’ event as the NXT champion?
North American Triple Threat: Cameron Grimes will be defending his North American title in a triple threat match. Facing him will be the last champion Carmelo Hayes, who won the #1 contender match to get this spot, and Solo Sikoa, who was granted this title shot due to interference in his title shot. Will we see Grimes’ reign cut short?
Cora Jade & Nikkita Lyons vs Natalya & Lash Legend: Natalya returned to NXT two weeks back and used Cora Jade to fire a warning to the whole roster. Nikkita Lyons stood up to her backstage, leading to Natalya attacking Lyons last week and Cora making the save. Jade and Lyons will now team up to face their mutual enemies in the form of Natalya and Lash Legend.
Nathan Frazer vs Grayson Waller: NXT UK Superstar Nathan Frazer was supposed to make his NXT debut last week, but his opponent was attacked by Grayson Waller. Frazer attacked Waller as he cut a promo. Waller then came to the conclusion backstage that Frazer’s debut match should come against him.
The Viking Raiders vs The Creed Brothers: Roderick Strong thinks the Creed Brothers have gone soft and hence he set up a surprise tag-team match for him against the former NXT and RAW Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders.
Face to Face Meeting: With increasing animosity, Don Tony D’Angelo has called on the head of La Familia Santos Escobar for a face to face sit down meeting. What will come out of this meeting? Will there be a parley?
