WWE NXT episode of February 6, 2024 dealt with the fallout from Vengeance Day PLE which ended with Carmelo Hayes turning on Trick Williams. We heard from Hayes on NXT explaining his actions.

Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin celebrated winning Dusty Rhodes Classic 2024. Nathan Frazer and Axiom faced Edris Enofe & Malik Blade. Lexis King faced Riley Osbourne in a singles match. What was next for NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyrie after their successful title defenses at Vengeance Day?

Carmelo Hayes came out to open the show. Heavy boos for him as he sat down in the ring. He took the mic and said, “na, not today”, and left the ring.

We cut to a recap of Vengeance Day. Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker were standing near the commentary table with their Dusty Rhodes Classic trophy. They call out the tag team champions Tony D’Angelo and Stacks, but instead Nathan Frazer and Axiom made their way out.

Nathan Frazer & Axiom defeated Edris Enofe & Malik Blade in a tag team match.

Breakker and Corbin attacked and beat up Frazer and Axiom for a while. NXT Tag Champs Tony & Stacks came out to the ramp with Adrianna Rizzo. Breakker & Corbin asked for their title shot next week.

Ilja Dragunov was entering the building when he was stopped for an interview. Ilja said he had to get some answers from Carmelo Hayes first.

Ilja Dragunov made his way out. Ilja started by giving props to his Trick Williams for giving him his best. He added that Carmelo Hayes could not see his friend reaching new heights. He called out Hayes to explain himself. Dijak came out instead to start an argument with Dragunov which led to a brawl.

Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne were backstage discussing the success of Chase University Calendar. Jayne then suggested Hail compose herself and play hard to get for Riley Osbourne.

We got a video package with Von Wagner and Mr. Stone’s kid trying to encourage Stone to compete in a tag team match against Noam Dar and Oro Mensah. Stone agreed to it one time only.

Lexis King defeated Riley Osbourne in a singles match. King countered Osbourne on the top rope to hit a superplex before hitting his finisher for the pinfall.

We saw a video package featuring Kelani Jordan. Backstage, Kiana James and Izy Dame were bullying others in the locker room and mocking Jordan. They took one girl’s coffee and threw it in trash.

Carmelo Hayes returned to the ring. More heavy booing from the Performance Center crowd. He said he and Trick had an agreement that he would go for World Championship while Trick would for North American title. But, Trick broke this agreement, so, he had to remind Trick where he belonged. Trick’s music hit and Hayes got up in fear before starting to laugh. Carmelo then said Trick started copying him but he was just his hype man and that’s all he would ever be.

The cryptic “He Has 3 Faces” vignette that aired at Vengeance Day was aired once again.

Roxanne Perez defeated Lola Vice in a singles match. In the final moments, Tatum Paxley ran out to the apron with a Breakout tournament contract and tried to cash it in. Vice knocked her out with a spinning heel kick. Roxanne caught Vice with Pop-Rox after this to get the pinfall.

Meta-Four were backstage where Lash Legends and Jakara Jackson played down Fallon Henley and Wren Sinclair as opponents. Noam Dar accepted the challenge from Von Wagner and Robert Stone before No Quarter Catch Crew came in for some argument.

Lash Legends & Jakara Jackson defeated Wren Sinclair & Fallon Henley in a tag team match. Legends hit Sinclair with a powerbomb to get the finish.

Brooks Jensen went to talk to Josh Briggs and said that he is lost without him and Fallon Henley. Briggs pushed him away and told him that he was not a kid anymore and to stand on her own two feet.

Jaida Parker asked Ava to book her against Adrianna Rizzo in a singles match. Ava booked the match but said OTM can’t be ringside for the match.

Ridge Holland came to Ava asking for a 3-on-1 match against Gallus. Ava refused to book a handicapped match, but would give him one member of Gallus at a time. Ava added that if Holland fails to beat one member, he wouldn’t face the next one.

Ilja Dragunov defeated Dijak in a singles match. Joe Gacy came from under the ring to hit Dijak with a boxing glove before Ilja hit an H-Bomb to get the pinfall.
