WWE NXT June 6: Ali vs Gacy & Blair Davenport Matches Added

WWE NXT has added two more matches for June 6, 2023 episode in Mustafa Ali vs Joe Gacy, and Blair Davenport vs Dani Palmer.

During the May 30 episode of NXT, Wes Lee and Tyler Bate defeated The Dyad (Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler) in a tag team match. Joe Gacy attacked Lee and Bate after the match but Mustafa Ali, who arrived to NXT minutes earlier and was on the commentary table, came to save North American Champion and Bate. A singles match is now set up between Ali and Gacy.

Mustafa Ali is currently a free agent after not being drafted into any brand during WWE Draft 2023, meaning he can wrestle on any of the WWE brands among RAW, SmackDown and NXT. He recently faced Intercontinental Champion Gunther at Night of Champions PLE, but failed to win the title. He is also set to face Santos Escobar in the Money in the Bank Ladder match qualifier on SmackDown June 9 episode.

Dani Palmer called out the mystery attacker of NXT during last week’s episode. The attacker was later revealed as Blair Davenport after she attacked Palmer from behind. Now, Davenport will make her comeback in the ring after 269 days as she faces Dani Palmer on June 6 NXT episode.

The episode already had multiple matches announced including Battle Royal for #1 contender for NXT Women’s Championship and a mixed tag team match between Diamond Mine and The Schism. The complete announced card is as below:
