WWE NXT June 13: Heritage Cup, Schism Trios & Corbin-Dragunov Set
WWE has announced 3 matches for NXT June 13, 2023 episode including a Heritage Cup match and a trios match featuring Mustafa Ali and Schism.
Nathan Frazer returned with Hard Hitting Truth segment and also had Dragon Lee with him as the special international correspondent. Lee mocked NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar’s group with made-up names. Frazer then went on to challenge Dar to defend Heritage Cup against him next week.
Dar was with his group later in the show, which includes Oro Mensah, Jakara Jackson & Lash Legends, where he accepted the challenge. He also claimed that he would hold onto the cup for long time. The matches for Heritage Cup take place under British Round Rules.

Mustafa Ali defeated Joe Gacy in a singles match on this week’s NXT episode(June 6). After the match, Gacy’s stablemates The Dyad were quick to attack Ali. Tyler Bate and NXT North American Champion Wes Lee ran out to make the save. Ali had saved them from an attack from Gacy last week. Later in the show, Lee, Ali and Bate agreed to challenge The Schism. Joe Gacy also accepted the match that was made official before the show ended.
Baron Corbin opened the show this week to talk about the current generation of NXT getting soft and explained his attack on NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes last week. Ilja Dragunov confronted him on the soft part before they came to an agreement for a match. Corbin was attacked by Hayes’ friend Trick Williams, whom he defeated later in the show in a singles match. Corbin vs Dragunov is also announced for June 13 episode.
Bron Breakker attacked Dragunov backstage after his segment with Corbin. It will be interesting to see if Dragunov shows any discomfort due to this injury. Breakker also called World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to defend the title against him at NXT.
