John Cena & Logan Paul vs Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso
John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to win Undisputed WWE Championship. Cody went on a hiatus after that loss. At Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, Cena and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso had an altercation backstage where Cena mocked Jey that his title might soon be in the hands of a Youtuber. During Jey’s title defense against Logan Paul, Cena attacked Jey. Cody made his return and hit Cena with Cody cutter. Jey then defeated Logan with a spear to get the pinfall. Cody then announced that he and Jey would face Cena and Logan in a tag team match at Money in the Bank.
Lyra Valkyrie(c) vs Becky Lynch – WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Just a day after they won them at WrestleMania 41 Night 2, Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyrie lost WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship back to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on RAW April 21 episode. After the match, Becky turned heel by attacking Lyra, who was also the reigning WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. After some promos and brawls, they clashed in a title match at Backlash where Lyra retained the title. In frustration, Becky attacked Lyra after the match. Lyra then cost Becky in her Money in the Bank qualifier match at May 19 RAW episode. The following week, these two women were involved in yet another promo where they agreed to a rematch with two conditions. First condition was that Becky could never challenge for the title again if she lost this match. Second condition was that Lyra had to raise Becky’s hand herself if Becky won.
