Double or Nothing 2023: AEW Women’s, International & TNT Title Matches Set

AEW has added 3 title matches to AEW Double or Nothing 2023 PPV, including AEW Women’s Championship, International Championship and TNT Championship.
Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter was injured and was pulled out of this week’s trios match against The Outcasts. The match was turned into a 4-woman tag team match where Toni Storm pinned Britt Baker after spraying paint at her face and hitting Storm Zero. This was Storm’s fourth win under AEW in the last 5 days as she defeated Allysin Kay at Rampage last week and then beat Billie Starkz and Skye Blue at AEW House Show events on Saturday and Sunday.
After the match, Storm took a shot at Hayter for not being active and asked her to defend the title against her at Double or Nothing PPV. The match will be part of the ongoing rivalry between The Outcasts and The Originals.
Orange Cassidy keeps up his work as the workhorse champion of AEW as he is now set to defend AEW International Championship in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal at Double or Nothing 2023. During AEW Dynamite telecast this week, Cassidy was informed that 20 men went to ask for a title shot against him. Cassidy then decided to defend the title against them all.
AEW TNT Championship match is also set for Double or Nothing 2023 after Wardlow challenged Christian Cage to face him in a ladder match. Christian Cage made his intentions for a title shot a few weeks back before cutting a promo against Wardlow last week when he did not appear on the show. Wardlow opened Dynamite this week and called out Christian to say things to his face.
Luchasaurus and Christian attacked Wardlow and Christian hit him with a low blow. Luchasaurus then put Wardlow through a ladder via a chokeslam before Christian hit him with killswitch on top of the ladder. Wardlow was backstage in the medical room when he challenged Christian to face him at Double or Nothing.
A total of 6 matches are now officially announced for AEW Double or Nothing 2023 PPV which is set to take place on May 28, 2023.
