Following his victory over Alexander on the November 16 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Ospreay commended Alexander’s performance and expressed his desire to compete against him once more within the TNA arena.
Ospreay initially had a short period with IMPACT in 2016, but he made a return for a series of matches this autumn. During Bound for Glory in Chicago, he secured victories over Mike Bailey and later triumphed over Josh Alexander at the subsequent television tapings.
Additionally, at Turning Point in November, Ospreay emerged victorious in a match against Eddie Edwards. The rematch between Ospreay and Alexander II is scheduled to occur shortly before Ospreay’s new contract with AEW becomes officially effective.
