AJ Styles takes down Seth Rollins in Brawl after Contract signing
AJ Styles is set to face Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank this year. Before that, they cut a promo while signing the contract for the Universal Title match this week on RAW, which as usual ended up in a brawl.
Last week, WWE ran a mini-tournament to identify no. 1 contender for Seth Rollins’ Universal Championship. AJ Styles came on top in a triple threat match and then against Baron Corbin. This week, Styles and Rollins faced off during the contract signing for the said match. As Michael Cole looked over the proceedings, both men claimed that they will come on top in their encounter while maintaining that they have the utmost respect for each other. The things slowly started heating up as they signed the contract.
After this, they got into each other’s face as Rollins held the title high in the air. AJ took the first shot at Rollins as he hit him with a forearm. Rollins also replied with stiff strikes and sent Styles out of the ring. He followed it with a suicide dive but just as it seemed Styles is down and out, he came back into the ring and hit Rollins with the Phenomenal forearm which incidentally took Rollins through the table.
