Steve Austin opened the Monday Night RAW this week at New York’s Madison Square Garden for the Universal Championship Contract Signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman. As the segment went on, AJ Styles came out with his OC mates. He not only went on to ridicule Rollins and Strowman but Stone Cold also. Not only was that unacceptable to the crowd who started an a–hole chant, it also infuriated Austin. As Rollins and Strowman took care of Gallows and Anderson, Stone Cold waited for Styles to turn around to hit a stunner.

Still feeling the effects from the stunner, the United States Champion next faced Cedric Alexander in a singles match which came to an end when the Good Brothers interfered. The Vikings Raiders came out to save Alexander from a post-match assault. WWE later announced a mega 10-Men tag team match for the main event of the show. Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, the Viking Raiders, and Alexander formed one team while, the OC, Robert Roode, and Dolph Ziggler formed the other.

The troubles for Styles did not end in the main event also. After the match broke into chaos for the third time, Cedric Alexander countered Styles’ Phenomenal Forearm into a Lumber check to get the pin over him to win the match. A pin over a champ generally means a title shot and Cedric might get his at Clash of Champions this Sunday.

Stone Cold Steve Austin once again came out to have a celebratory beer with the winning team to close the show. Some fan footage has made its way to social media where Austin was seen offering a beaten up AJ Styles a beer after the show. Just as Styles began to chug his beer, Austin hit him with a Stone Cold Stunner to the joy of the MSG crowd. WWE also shared the video over social media later.
