Six-Man Tag Team Match Announced for Fight of the Fallen
AEW announced on the Road to Fight for the fallen series that a six-man tag team match will take place at the show with MJF, Shawn Spears and Sammy Guevara taking on Joey Janela, Darby Allin and Jimmy Havoc.
AEW has released the second episode of the “Road to Fight for the Fallen” series to Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Family YouTube channel. The video opens with the footage of the unprotected chair shot that Cody took from Shawn Spears at last Saturday’s AEW Fyter Fest event. They also include backstage footage of Cody getting tended to by medics, and an altercation between Spears and MJF, who is a good friend to Cody.
We also get a new scene of Cody’s “protege” Maxwell Jacob Friedman confronting Spears after the attack, and security & AEW management keeping the two men separated. But a few minutes later, we got the announcement that Spears and MJF will be teaming up for the six-man tag team match at the Fight for the Fallen pre-show.
Even MJF expressed his surprise at the match. But it will be interesting to see if they are able to finish the match or will implode on each other in the middle of it itself.
