Saurav Gurjar, the Indian wrestler signed with WWE, has been cast for an Indian movie series ‘Brahmastra’ alongside the Indian Movie Legend Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Singh, and Alia Bhatt.
Saurav has earlier worked in the Hindi TV series Mahabharat and has done some other roles on TV programs in India. In 2011, he also worked in the TNA/Impact Wrestling’s Indian promotion Ring Ka King with the ring name Deadly Danda. In RKK, he was a member of Jeff Jarrett’s heel stable RDX alongside Abyss, Scott Steiner, Nick Aldis, and Sonjay Dutt. Saurabh signed a developmental contract with WWE in January 2018 and started training at WWE’s US Performance Center in Orlando. He also made his in-ring debut in WWE’s development brand NXT when he teamed up with Rinku Singh.
Brahmastra is a film trilogy series that is produced by India’s leading production house Dharma Production. The first film of the series is slated to release on Christmas week this year. Saurav is cast for portraying a character named Kali in the movie.
