Sasha Banks will be facing WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Alexa Bliss at next week’s season premiere episode of Monday Night RAW on 30 September.
Last week, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross faced former champions Sasha Banks and Bayley. But Alexa Bliss was sidelined during the match due to an issue with her knee. Sasha and Bayley went on to use numerical superiority on Cross and went on to defeat her.
This week at RAW, Sasha faced Nikki Cross and once again forced her to submit to the Bank statement. Post-match, Bliss entered the ring to help Cross but Sasha attacked her also before applying the Bank Statement on Bliss too. Later, WWE went on to announce that Sasha will now face Bliss in a singles match next week.
WWE is going big with next week’s RAW episode, dubbing it as the season premiere of the brand. The announced lineup for next week’s RAW episode is as follows:
- WWE Universal Championship Match between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio
- Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman to make appearances
- The Miz to host special Miz TV segment with WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan
- Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss
