Saraya Wins Fatal 4 Way Match & AEW Women’s Title at AEW All In 2023
Saraya defeated Toni Storm, Hikaru Shida, and Britt Baker in a fatal 4-way match at the AEW All In 2023 event to become the new AEW Women’s Champion.
The match started with the Outcast members collaborating to target both Shida and Baker. However, their partnership was short-lived as Saraya and Storm had a disagreement during the match, arguing over who would get to pin Baker.
During the match, Saraya’s Mom, who was present at ringside, held Bekar from behind just as Toni was preparing to strike Baker. In an unfortunate turn of events, Toni’s intentional strike aimed at Baker accidentally landed on Saraya’s Mom. This incident sparked a significant altercation among the members of the Outcast faction.
After the situation, Ruby Soho came to stop Saraya and Storm, but she was hit by Saraya with a forearm strike. At the end of the match, Saraya used a spray on Storm’s face and followed up by executing the Knight Cap, which led to her securing the victory through a pinfall.
Hikaru Shida’s championship reign was relatively short-lived, as she captured the title by defeating Toni Storm on the August 2 episode of AEW Dynamite.
