Backstage Update on Ronda Rousey’s WWE Return

According to the latest reports, the former UFC WWE Raw women’s champion Ronda Rousey is scheduled to appear at WrestleMania 38. 

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Ronda Rousey might be at WrestleMania. He also presumes that she might appear at the Royal Rumble PPV event on January 29. 

However, he is not sure whether she will take part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match or will simply appear to build up her match for WrestleMania. 

There are speculations that Rousey might face Becky Lynch. Their previous match was nixed due to Lynch’s injury and then Charlotte ended up facing Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series. 

Also, Becky Lynch was the one who dethroned Rousey as Raw Women’s Champion, and that too in the main event of WrestleMania 35. Hence, there is certainly a possibility that Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch will take place this year at the grandest stage of them all. 

That very match was Ronda Rousey’s last match in WWE. Last year, Rousey gave birth to a baby girl. Also, Becky Lynch never talked her trash-talking. So, it is certainly a good time for Ronda Rousey to return and take revenge on Becky Lynch.
