WWE has been locally advertising that King Woods will face the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns in the main event of SmackDown next week.
This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown featured Jimmy Uso vs King Woods with a stipulation that the loser has to bend the knee.
Woods managed to win the match and when Jimmy Uso was about to kneel down, Roman Reigns entered the ring and attacked King Woods.
The Bloodline assaulted the New Day and then The Head of the Table threatened the King about showing up next week on his show.
After SmackDown went off the air, Roman Reigns even posted a tweet that reads, “You come to my show, you come correct. Respect the top of the food chain. We eat first.”
After the show, the fans were speculating that they will get to see Roman Reigns vs King Woods sooner or later. But according to the local advertisements, the match will take place next week in the main event of SmackDown.
King Woods is a part of SmackDown’s men’s Survivor Series team and competes in a traditional tag-team elimination match. On the other hand, Roman Reigns will face the WWE Champion at the PPV event and he is none other than the third member of New Day, Big E.
